I don't think there is any directors who can beat MGR till now. Just watch his 3 own hit movies. All are totally different and very entertaining. He is the only actor and director who knows the audience 's pulse. That's why his movies till now even the youngsters also enjoyed watching. In all 3 movies you can see how MGR gave roles for all the multiple heroines, male and female comdians, beautiful songs, fantastic music, beautiful unique costumes, locations etc... In late 50s to early 70s MGR's movies are the most entertaining in theatre and at homes. For his movies all tickets will fully sold out in my country. Current directos,, just gave 1 small scene to show her face, bcos they are not they are nutless! Only Atlee did a good job in Mersal. MGR is always great in all!
