I always say "Be careful what you think when riding a horse" Had some situations when I was just thinking about something I may do next and the horse would start doing exactly what I thought. One time I was in a jumping lesson with the haflinger I had. He loooved to jump and would never run around an obstacle instead of jumping it. We were cantering towards an obstacle that in my opinion was very close to the corner and I thought we should make a quick turn to the right and as soon as I thought it, he turned to the right, which was still BEFORE the obstacle 😂
