The sunset strokes your cheek. The warmth of the evening sets in. The music on the speaker playing loud, and all the colours of downtown echoes the sound. You watch your friends, we smiling. Another jump infront of us. We put down our backpacks and speaker in a corner. People walking by watching us, smiling, vibing, photographing us, talking about us. A large gathering surrounds, us. We jump! Through the rail we vault. Down we drop, up we go for another wallrun. We tic tac on the walls of the city, we climb high! Another drop we go, another railflow inbound. Everyone applauds us. We sweat, we smile. We give our thanks and grab our stuff. Off to the next spot. All day we trained. All evenings we scaled. We went home to each other, playing videogames, laughing, watching TH-cam videos. Ate some nice homemade food. And the next day was just as the same. Every day. The city unfolding. A big canvas of urban space, a jungle. Of scaffoldings, cranes, secret areas. We went down. We went up. We explored the roofs. We explored the tunnels. We jumped all day! The world is our playground. Sometimes the cops stopped for a chat with us. Sometimes a few guards came after us. Sometimes they where on our side. Sometimes they weren't. Sometimes the people wanted record us. Sometimes they shout at us! Some even tried playing with us. And some, you could see it in their eyes, a spark of respect. No words had to be said. This is Parkour/Freerunning, an art of motion. The art of movement. Long days of training. Beautiful sunsets. Hard rain, snow and nightmissions. We embraced it all~ If I could sum it up in a song, I'd choose many. But this particular one catches the feeling of the vibe we had. Around us. Through the rooftops, downtown. Underground. Everywhere we went, there was happiness! There was flow. There was movement, and there was created memories for life. Legends for a lifetime~
