I started learning Chinese out of my own interest. While searching teaching videos your channel is really a good one. It helps me a lot. ❤️ From Chennai

sweet tutorial. knowing how many thousands of characters comprise the chinese writing system, i was initially suprised at how little i could find on YT regarding tutorials or explainations. this video is highly educational.
Hi! Andy sir ...... I am from Pakistan 🇵🇰 ... First of all,Thank you so much sir I was finding this type of video from a long time . Actually, I am very fond of learning& writing Chinese characters. Now finally I will write Chinese characters with myself. Again Thank you so much..
Thanks a lot, Andy, for sharing this valuable learning-teaching material. It is a great complement to your videos as well as to your virtual classes on weekends. Greetings from Peru.
What I like about this video is how it seems humanly possible to write the strokes as opposed to Chinese Calligraphy which is so incredibly beautiful and perfect that I wonder how anyone can learn it especially when using the "Maobi" which has a mind of its own . 🤔😁
Thanks. That was really well presented, with the strokes and then examples of the strokes in characters. Instead of jumping to radicals, or all the numbers in order etc. It was very clear and the presentation speed is perfect. I'm a bit beyond this in my learning, so I have some basis for my remarks, having seen many character writing presentations and books. Thanks so much. From Canada.
What’s the name of the story you read in 1 of your videos. It’s about chabuduo. I remember a little bit of the story. He missed his train because he was late and the train left without him and he ended up falling ill and instead of a real doctor he used a veterinarian and he ended up dying I think. Please help me find this story.
Xie xie. You use a lot of: related to... Or: usually means... I know it's a beginners class, but how am I supposed to know what you actually mean by (or how to use) those phrases? Jaitien.😀
Good question. Technically speaking, radicals are only related to their original meanings in ancient Chinese because we are speaking modern Chinese nowadays and that's why there are a lot of exceptions.
@@AskAndy Ni Haho Ma? Can you please elaborate on that? What do you mean by "radicals", for instance? Xie Xie. Jaitien. (Please correct my grammar, I feel I've made a mistake there in my reply there, but I can't pin point it...)

Very helpful for beginners! Recommend speaking strokes as character is drawn: kou3 say “shu heng zhi heng” as each stroke is drawn etc
That would've been so helpful!

@@AskAndy Hi teacher Andy. Just one question for you. Do they actually teach you English in china high school? Keep up the good work ❤❤❤.
