Just to give you some background, YG said this in the 'Last Evaluation Teaser' which started the whole one or more is being eliminated. They are using the same clip from the teaser in this episode to remind everyone that he said there will be eliminations. The BLACKPINK missions for BABYMONSTER was recorded in April 2022 for their monthly evaluation. YG monthly evaluations will include one solo performance, one group song (they can be divided into groups), and one group dance. The BLACKPINK mission we did not get to see the solo performances. It seems that the 'Last Evaluation' started in May 2022 where they are going to perform one solo, one group song, and one group dance. So that is considered their 'Last Mission' and then will be the moment of truth. Since we know that the process was in April and May of 2022, then we know that the final line-up was decided at least around that time. Since then the 7 members were seen together at the 'Born Pink' concert in Seoul (October 2022) and I believe Treasure concert in November where the members were congratulating them for surviving. I can't find the photos right now but I believe that is was in December 2022 where they are photographed with 7 members going into the YG building. The just a few weeks ago the members posted on the BABYMONSTER Instagram account all of them doing Jisoo's "Flower" dance challenge. The only thing is that they don't show all 7 members at one time doing the dance but they show all 7 members together at the end of the video. The one thing is that YG put himself into a corner. He introduced 7 trainees and because we have 3 Korean, 2 Japanese, and 2 Thai members if they eliminate any of the members then all of this marketing they have done for the group would go to waste. Eliminating any one of the Korean trainees would make it difficult for the domestic market in Korea. Eliminating any of the Japanese trainees would also have difficulties in the Japan market which is one of the biggest music markets. While Thailand is very supportive of BLACKPINK because of Lisa, how would they feel about having a group that they had two very talented Thai trainees only to cut one of them. They might lose support for the group in Thailand. There is also another thing, during the training, the group is given a project name. I remember at one point Yang Hyun Suk said Project BABYMONSTER. So when he says something like BABYMONSTER will never be a 7 member group and it will be less than 7, he could be referring to the fact that once they pass their last evaluation that they get "eliminated" from BABYMONSTER to get promoted to "BAEMON" which is the other registered trademark name when they registered BABYMONSTER. The other thing that could happen that he changes his mind, keeps the BABYMONSTER name and debut them as 7. But BLACKPINK also had a project name when they were trainees (PINK PUNK) so it is not too far off that a name change when they debut. The one thing is that YG knows that all of them deserve to debut but no one is sure if he will debut them as OT7 in one group or if they are going to be in different groups. I don't want to spoil too much but just wait till you get to the later episodes and you see the talent of each individual even more than their introductions which was recorded almost 2-3 years ago. Also, you get to see more group performances since they are trying to assess how well they work together. Episode 7 by far the best episode they put out. After episode 7 you will say that they have to debut as a 7 member group.

Kind of like the last evaluation but the work that they put into getting ready to debut. I would watch that series as well. And if they did it like BLACKPINK House would even be better. The behind the scenes is kind of recorded like that and you really get to see the personalities of all the girls.
