It was a fun list to get the Wargames Atlantic guys on the table. The lack of instructions in the kit was a problem which I didn't mention in the video. It's a solid late war German list for a game where there are beers, music and food. I don'T know how it would do at a tourney. Hope winter is over. Glad Connor McJesus got schooled by the Leafs last weekend. Happy Easter too
Excessive dandruff and a freckled pecker makes Gefreiter Otto a hit with all the French ladies. lol. The Chaplain excels at turning wine (and beer, and schnapps, and whiskey) into water. Hope you're getting some games in amigo.
Mate i LOVE this, every model has its own personality , the force is great!!! I found that the WA Pz Lehr heads were all too serene, not enough yelling etc in the selection, the WA german sentry set has many more options for heads that are good, but i love your use of DAK heads, the goggles etc look really good in the force. Fantastic work again, thanks for sharing! Dan
Thanks for the kind words, Dan. Something I didn't mention in the video and I had told myself that I would was that the WA figures didn't come with an instruction key so I was guessing which left arms matched which right arms. Brutal trial and error for the rifle guys. The DAK heads are some of WG best German sculpts. All the best to you and Rex. Looking forward to more of your MOAB adventures down under.
Thanks very much, Al. I've done a few regiment based armies over the years. My favorite so far is the 7th Pnzr.Div. Anti-tank platoon from May 1940. So many anti-tank guns.
Cheers, Sean. I have decided moving forward that all chaplains or priests in my armies are going to be half way through their second morning bottle. lol.
Great set of the Panzer Lehr Division, James. Very well painted figures and vehicles. A cool group which looks great on the table. Best wishes and a good weekend. Joachim
Thank you very much. My airbrush really started to let me down with the Sdkfz.251s. I could not get the camo stripping on them that I wanted, but the project had taken me so long I just wanted to get it out of the way. I also ran out of thinner too. But I think overall they turned out well.
Thank you very much. I wish we had more tournaments (well, even players) in this part of the world so I could actually try out some of my cheesy tactics and lists.
Thank you very much. I find the 1/48 stuff looks more visually correct on the table...that and the price of resin models from Europe is extortionistic with the exchange rate now.
Cheers, Mark. I thought the mennonite/amish beard went really well with the idea of field chaplain. A bit too much of the sacramental wine for breakfast is a bit of a meme I've been carrying over for a while.
Soul less as in can't keep a beat or devoid of the that inner spark? Ronald McDonald is definitely in the latter camp. lol. Thanks for checking out the video! Looking forward to more of your Historicon project...about 3 more months til D Day.
Great project, looks amazing as usual

I bet you ginger guy has a lot of dandruff on those lime green epaulettes. lol. Great looking army man! Drunk Amish Chaplain is best Chaplain.

Fabulous painting and basing, you brought them to life!! 😍😍👍👍
Thank you very much Phil. I think I've run out of German armies to paint now.

These look so cool James. I like armies for bolt action that are based on one regiment rather than separate units. Well done.👏👏👏👏

Superb James, love what you've done with them, including the drunken priest

Absolutely superb figures... well thought out.

:50 dude on left looks like hes not wearing socks lol....
cool video, magnificent army, an enthusiastic two thumbs up
I just noticed that. lol. Thanks for the kind words!
Love this video, super informative and the scale between the 1/48th models and the figures works perfectly, great paint jobs too.

@@jvcpaintsI bet, the cost seems to keep going up, but I’ve always loved the detail in plastic
Hey James... The chaplain looks like an Old Testament Prophet (in camo of course). And I love the cows!
Cheers, Mark. I thought the mennonite/amish beard went really well with the idea of field chaplain. A bit too much of the sacramental wine for breakfast is a bit of a meme I've been carrying over for a while.
Lovely looking force there mate. The cows keep making me think of the movie "Top Secret!"😂
Cheers, Cal. Top Secret with Val Kilmer. Saw it in the theater when I was in elementary school. A classic from the 80s for sure.
Every army needs a soulless ginger

They look very good James well done marra . Regards Gav.
Thanks, Gav! I'm a bit "germaned out" with WW2 at the moment. I have another project just started and some ancients I really want to get finished.
Awesome work on those james
Thanks, Justin.
Very nice mate. I like the tactics
Thank you, Leon. One of these years I might get a game in to put them to the test. lol
Great job!
Thank you very much! I only hope I can use them successfully in a game.
very nice collection🙂
Cheers! Thank you very much!
Some great conversions here, James! Fantastic force! Also, are the Tamiya vehicles 1/48? They look perfect with the figures.
THanks, Josh. It took me a while to get the models done. I disappeared for quite awhile from TH-cam, but I'm hoping to catch up.
Very nice Platoon you built there.
Thanks, Christoph. I just started the first 3 figures of the next WW2 project. Hoping I can get them done within the month of April.
Great video well done brilliant 🐰🐰🐰
Thank you very much! I'm happy that you liked it.
Looks cool.
Cheers! I enjoyed the Wargames Atlantic sculpts, but the lack of instructions was a bit too much at times.
Nice one..
Thank you very much.
