A dual purpose of these videos is I get to see exactly which vendors in the Bay are easy to deal with vs not as much. Ulysses seems like a real one for sure
It's rather difficult as a new collector to be 'smarter' than a seller on these events :( Good to see your teaching us the ropes, thanks for that! Really like these buyer point of views :)
lol. Love how supportive your wife is bro! Haha when asked about it the Japan trip “I loved it!”. Great deal you got there at the end with the sleeved booster. Thanks for the video as always!
wow huge win. market was round 650 during this show, I sold for a bit under 800 on ebay overnight and it blew up to 1200-1500 over the next few days. wild
Thanks for another video Oyama. Almost 5k before the new year big hype! Great knowledge showing the vendors about the promoted listing prices. Do Vendors get vetted at all for the events or is it the same as in the UK for whoever just buys a table at an event just curious?
@@denarr8276 yeah! Would be cool to hit 5k before the new year, I think we will! Yeah, only qualification is you paid for a table. I think that’s generally positive cause gatekeeping it seems super weird, but it does have the occasional obvious downsides that come with no vetting.
letss goooo buyer pov!! that magikarp was such a good buy. currently waiting on one from PSA, hoping for that 10! great video as always bro keep em coming
Thanks for watching! In general, or this one specifically? Hopefully this context is helpful -- this one had like 5-6 vendors, 56 min of raw footage, it would've been so boring any longer than this! Most of them are 20-30 min long -- I generally aim for all my vids to be around 20 mins, but I refuse to cut interesting stuff or to pad runtime with uninteresting stuff. 20-30 min buyer POVs probably take me ~20 hours to edit (this one took MUCH less) so pros and cons. If it seemed clear people would truly watch 30+ min vids I'd make more, but my 30+ min uploads have generally had worse watch %s (and only slightly better watch time in an absolute sense) than 20-min vids. I prefer watching 20-30 min vids personally so whenever I can make a fun 20-30 min runtime, I always do :)
I've 100% been thinking we're due for a collection update video and maybe a video 'fireside chatting' about the .. economics? of how I approach the hobby. Lmk if those sound interesting!
@oyamastrading i personally think a fireside chatting on economics video is great topic to do right now with all that hype around 151 restock n terastal festival//prismatic evolutions,, as forr th collection update video that would be a good treat for xmas//xmas eve unless you had something else planned for that
Started watching a little ago and I guess you're content was the channel the tipped the tower and now I'm back into the hobby, already bought a Japanese 151 SAR Blastoise and tempted to get it graded (gonna get a few other eyes on it first) hoping for a 10. Keep up the awesome content and hope to see more!!!❤
Hey man, I see u around the shows often but u usually look busy. What camera are u using to record is it a GoPro ? . Nice video keep the the great content

I’ve made a deal with him before, super nice and easy to work with!
Dude has the greninja out in his case with a price tag 🏷️ on it and says he doesn’t want to sell 😂 . What an oxymoron 😮
I mean it makes sense, I list high end cards for over retail that I want to keep but would be happy selling at a premium .. 😂
It definitely also took me a hot minute to better grasp how to read TCG Player prices. Education comes with time.
Love living vicariously through your POV videos! Card shows are hard to come by in some areas for sure

Really like these videos and you do a great job doing it. Thanks! Learning a lot.
I like how you hold other vendors to the correct price. Your channel is entertaining and educational.

Love the content Oyama :) was just binge-watching older clips & boom new upload! Merry Christmas!!
I always think it is crazy how some cards just explode out of nowhere, always wondering what the reason is for that.
always a good day when Oyama uploads
The karp exploded overnight sold mine for 1500, wild graded it myself too. great vids!
