@@MashhoodAKhan the men strikes as we can hear it on the video. It's a powerful one with kikentai no ichi. The question here is : Is there a kote for Ohira ? The kote is really high (on the elbow), not really powerful and arrive simultaneously with the men. But Ohira clearly initiated the action. The reaction of the referees is strange (first time I ever see such a switch of flag after the sign of the third referee), and we were a bit confused in the public after this happened.
For this ippon, the referees had to make gogi to clarify what they see, and it was a mistake not to do it.

@@MashhoodAKhan No, our angle it's tough to see, but you can also tell by checking the shinpan's reaction off the court, clearly pointing at red

@@antoinegirardet5589 I've seen similar calls quite often. Almost always goes the way of the person who initiated it all. Agree that a gogi would have been nice to see, but without having the luxury to slow it down like we have, the call is understandable.

@@MashhoodAKhan I was there watching it in person on the floor, it was a men strike. Unfortunatelly there is a clear bias for japan again.

    日本の強豪チームでも活躍できるでしょ。ヨーロッパ剣道史上、ダントツで一番強いかな😮
if he belongs to a strong japanese team,he will be a regular member.
i think he is the most strong senshu in european kendo history.
