If there's something wrong with the engine and it blows up, they can always walk away by saying "you didn't follow the break-in method properly"

But why do you have to drive a new car slow for the first 1000 miles if they gonna rev it and put a lot of load on it in the factory?

Why because they don't check every engine they check few engines from batch
Because only some engines are hot tested means run actual engine as run in car and 90%are cold tested means run with electric Dynamo
