This year will be the 10th (Oct 12th) and 20th (August 8th) year anniversaries (respectively) of when my fiancée/boyfriend passed away. As these dates get nearer, I find myself withdrawing more and more. I don’t know what’s gonna happen. I could fall apart completely, to an extent I never have before. I could be numb. I could calmly acknowledge them and feel connected but still at peace. All of these are feelings I have previously felt on what I’ve come to call “death-date anniversaries” …
Regardless, this video helped me to feel a bit better about the NOT knowing of how I will handle all. So thank you. This truly was a gift.
