We all saw how well the girls sing on the predebut, they all sing wonderfully and have distinct voices, so I don't understand why the line distribution is so bad. The distribution has to be better in the comeback, just look at Stayc and Weeekly and see how they distribute lines fairly.

Line distribution depends on the difficulty of the song. So the part you get depends on the capability of each member. Many parts of this song are obviously not easy so the main vocalists cover the difficult lines. It's very unrealistic to say let's make even distribution every single song... every song is different so roles vary per song. The title track is obviously the most important song, but there's many songs in the album this is not the only song...
Agree but also they aren't like Mamamoo in that MMM doesn't have main/lead anything. Purple Kiss does. Swan and Goeun are referenced by themselves/group as main vocalists (multiple interviews + some of the BTS stuff on their channel) and Dosie is referenced as main dancer (BTS of their Stage Break). I think Ireh might be too. Yuki is considered main rapper (interviews). And Chaein has introduced herself as an all-rounder (debut showcase intros), so kinda lead dancer/vocal/rapper. As for Jieun, I have a suspicion that her lack of lines may possibly be her own choice. PK doesn't peg me as a group that would intentionally give their members less lines than is fair/appropriate (also given they seem to have a lot more input on writing/composing than a lot of groups where they're just given a song/line dist. to record) and Jieun does struggle with confidence in her singing. Byul even said that she seems to change her singing voice to fit in the group since she has a lower voice. She might struggle with vocal confidence like Byul used to. As well as the fact she's said before she takes longer to learn things than some of the others. I do hope she gets more (Jieun is my bias) but given its only their first album I'm not all that concerned. Hopefully as they grow and improve their singing skills, the distribution will get more even, though I would expect Goeun, Swan and Chaein to get the bulk for a while.

i love the kids i really do but i always find it hard to stan large number groups (by large i mean more than 5,) because even in small number groups line distribution can already be unfair :(( and i know they are all really good. facts. we all heard them pre debut. watching this just makes me sad :(((
dont automatically assume that jieun, ireh, and dosie are getting mistreated bc of their lack of lines. jieun struggles with confidence so she may just not want lines, dosie gets a lot of dancing in ponzona so maybe she doesnt want to hog all of the attention, and idk for ireh
