Everyone talks about the evolution of the men’s game but the woman’s game has truly evolved. The game is being played at a much faster pace then what it once was. These women are on another level.

@@stevieboymkii Oh, is it? The commenter is 100% right about the pace. Natasha Cloud's first step is a joy to watch. Did you not see Breanna Stewart chase on a cutter and then get the block of her match-up. The ball handling, the passing, the shooting, and the distance from which they were initiating their lay-ups are laudable. People act like the WNBA had no one before Caitlin Clark. Many of the fans overlook them without appreciating the existing talent of which CC is an incredible part of course. So is Angel Reese but they are now learning that the physicality and the reffing in the league is actually excellent at times. Only sexism can bring such a "most boring, overplayed argument" as you rolled out and expressed here. The commenter you responded to is 100% right.
@@ShubhamSingh-or3zu let's roll out the obvious fact here, the only people that are sexist against the women's game, are women, as they never supported the game before. If they did, it would be as successful, if not more than the NBA, given that there are more women than men on the planet. What I stated is in fact, 100% correct. People who just shout 'sexism, racism' etc... have no actual argument to make and they are simply used to people not engaging them because it's typically not possible to get far enough down the food chain to communicate with people that have such low brow arguments. This makes them think that they are correct, when in fact, people just can't be arsed to engage with someone so moronic 😀 Unlike many of the people that complained about the WNBA players not getting paid etc... I could actually name quite a few WNBA players prior to Clark and Reese coming on the scene. The original commenter on this thread posted something positive and the second commenter (a miserable person that clearly has a down look on life), had to take that and add an unnecessarily negative (and incorrect) response i.e. the same tired old shite that people have been spouting for longer than we can all remember.
It’s just better basketball… the entire floor is being used… the game isn’t stuck around the perimeter.
As a Nets fan…it’s kind of a sin to not root for the Liberty 🗽

2:24 this is what I can't stand about this generation basketball the player had open in the key close to the basket frickin pass it out to the three pt line and the player misses if I was a coach she would have gotten benched
Ironically, coaches are teaching this now. They call it drive and kick. It makes no sense to me to have a high percentage shot and then trade it for a lower percentage shot.
PHX outperformed their last game which was the worst game of this young season.
Meanwhile, NY fought back and hung on. Good game by both teams.

Hey everyone, do you think there's a lack of opportunities for talented NCAA women's basketball players? It seems like there are only 12 teams in the league, while there are thousands of skilled college players. This year, 90 percent of the draft applicants didn't make it, and only 12 rookies were selected. Even last year's top rookies were let go. Three teams-Phoenix, Connecticut Sun, and Atlanta Dream-didn't pick any rookies this year. It's frustrating to see players stuck in long contracts, leaving little room for new talent. This makes the league seem stagnant and less exciting. Unless the WNBA will expand to another 6 more teams, this leauge will remain boring.
From what I read they’re adding San Fran and Toronto teams. I think keep in mind as well that the WNBA has only been around 30 years or so (?) and the NBA started off with 8 teams, extending slowly from 8 - 22 between 1946 > 1976 (30 years). I think just give it time. It feels like it might be a slower process including making more opportunity, getting the players paid properly etc.
The game was crazy last night and it’s just an indication of where WNBA is going. I think these things take time with funding and sport politics etc. (I’m from the UK and I’m only just getting into basketball, and I’m actually OBSESSED 😂)
But I really hear what you’re saying, as a newcomer it feels a little easier to just be excited by it all right now!

At like 8:10 Cloud gets bumped in a routine layup, and all I could think about was how some NBA players would have been catapulted backward by the basketball ghosties. WNBA is so much more real.
Feel like the officiating is to blame heavily for this. They've stopped allowing those sorts of calls now and the longer that goes on, the less of the BS you'll see.
