    I fold the crepe paper in half and take the needle to the part with the fold. This makes them even fluffier. I also dip the edges in glue and then glitter to give them a different look. I like how you do the thread and tie it off...much easier than a double thread with a knot.

    I like this style of crepe paper rosette too, b/c it's softer, more like the vintage stuff I remember from back in the day. I've got my sewing machine setting out; may try doing the stitching on it b/c it is fast. Big help knowing what length to cut the crepe paper. Thanks for the tutorial.

    A tip from me, that I do, when I want the rosette smaller or want/need to even the edges, is to make a template using a desired size card stock circle, and cut around it w/ scissors or better, a zig zag decorative scissor. Deckle edge is good too. I love the smallish zig zaggy edge, makes it look vintage.

    hey roxy...it’s me babsy...try making them with torn pages from vintage books....in different sizes...then stack them...
    love yours... now where is my vintage crepe paper? lol!
