Shigure: Possibly one of the Strongest characters in the Tales Series not aided by magic or outside help.

The fight would have been interesting if they made it rokurou vs shigure only but I also understand why they needed to gang up on him this guy is a beast
rokurou would get his ass beat if he soloed him.
I tried to solo him with Rokurou (party was on defensive mode) on chaos mode, dude hits like a truck and Rokurou kept dying.
would've been dope as hell if he could've truly 1 v 1 him. But that would just break all power balances in the game unfortunately. Still good that they included their short little 1 v 1 after you beat him though
@@marialourdesdiocera8525 Well I did solo him using Rokurou on Chaos and it was a piece of cake since I know how to use Rokurou very well.
I even pity Shigure to attack me just for allowing him to use his epic Mystic Arte (which countered by Rokurou.) 😂
Rokurou's Break Soul is the key so you just keep using his Break Soul and keep using arte that can stun Shigure.
Shigure Rangetsu, part sayian, part protagonist, the only way that kind of training would actully work XD
Rokurou doesnt draw his katana until the end because there's an old Samurai tradition saying to not unsheathe your sword until you're absolutely sure you're going to kill your enemy. If you failed, you could be ordered to commit suicide
no, rokuro didnt draw his sword until the end because that was ace, didnt you pay atention? that was a three sword style he developed to fight shigure, because he knew if he used only the longer sword, he would always loose, so he made a technique that specifacally rellied on three sword to surprise and disarm his oponent to kill him, hell you can even see him drawing kurogane to stop shigure ultimate attack.
That fight choreography after the boss bottle is top notch. So awesome!

By this point in the story i can really tell theres something between rokurou and eleanor i started shipping them so much
Plus what the makes the ship likely is that both Rokurou and Eleanor are the only ones not Doomed by Canon.

Berseria takes place a long time before Zestiria. That's why characters like her, Eizen, and Zaveid are in both games.

Shigure is probably the best character in the story, not as in best written or anything but best as in best person, he never really did anything wrong and was even willing to step up against Artur, Rokuru just ruined his life and Shigure doesnt even blame him for it
This game was so good my only complaint is that its quick to beat even doing the side quest if they stretched out fighting melchior and shigure i feel that could have been as long as abyss, symphonia or vesperia also melchior was the puppet master he and laphicet should’ve been the real final boss duo not to say artorios isnt good he fits very well for the plot but he is second fiddle to what is happening on the evil side.

Am I stupid? Why did rokurou surprise shigure when he used his sword? Didn’t he just show it to him
Haha no you aren't. The thing is, Rokurou surprised Shigure with the usage of his sword. He probably expected Rokurou to use it more in the battle. Also, Rokurou could have landed the final blow with any sword but he wouldn't have had the confidence to fight him at full strength because Shigure's sword could have snapped any other sword. This time, Kurogane was completely with him too so Rokurou knew this was the do or die moment.
As intimidating they made Shigure looked like or how super strong he was - I didn't have any trouble beating him as a Boss.
I didn't either, but I play on normal difficulty anyway, I'm never looking for a challenge in video games
"I don't even need to dodge" was meant to be "no need to dodge it will be the same every time".

@@taralingthremon1208 no need when the dub is almost perfect i mean kamoana gets some pretty bad delivered line but all the rest goes from solid to amazing, nowadays most game dubs are pretty good, it helps that they use most of the same voice actors time and time again so the only rl complain would be that u hear the same voices in to many games XD
@@SantosOverlord Even then some of the English voice actors have some good range. Rokuro, as an example, is voiced by Ben Diskin, same person who voiced Joseph Joestar. I never even realized it and still couldn't tell.
Umm what? The voice actually for Tales games have been perfect. I don't know ANYONE who has ever complained. Story, yes. But dubbing?!?!
