What if n=2 since the statement saids that for "all" positive integers n?
Is both side still equal?
I don't understand how you can just add the k+1 term outside the summation notation. I don't get how that all adds up to the LHS. If anyone can explain further please do! I feel like it hasn't clicked for me yet.
