The Indian students do Not need to come to UK. They have hundreds of universities in India to attend.

They aren't proper universities, they are new ''universities'' opened just to cash in on these students and offering education of dubious quality in exchange. I noticed a few weeks back from the bus in a run down part of Shepherd's Bus a shabby entrance next to a vape shop called ''BPP university'', with a lot of Indian looking people entering. Googled it and the reviews by those students are terrible, I think they just do online courses in the premises and it appears to be very difficult to actually speak to a tutor, they seem to be directed to helpdesk numbers lol. I think there are dozens of these so-called ''universities'' in London.

I'm a very highly educated EU migrant into the UK. Yes, immigration is a huge issue, but there's lots of other things contributing to the state of the UK. Decades of neglect of buildings and infrastructure. OAP should start perhaps at 70 or even 72 as life expectancy has increased so much. OAP freebies should be means tested as it's unaffordable to do for every Boomer (many own at least one home they're renting out at an extortionate price pushing younger people out from owning a home to live in). People who can't afford kids shouldn't be given long-term benefits to procreate. The NHS should not be for issues stemming from lifestyle choices or things like dental for adults, which is mainly due to lifestyle, etc. You shouldn't be able to get disability payments just because you're obese, etc. I pay more in taxes than the average Brit. I'm fluent in English and I've fully assimilated into English society. I had almost all of my higher education at the expense of taxpayers in my home country so I came to the UK basically ready to go and start paying taxes, unlike native Brits who cost society a lot of money during their childhood and adolescence, many end up barely paying any income taxes in adult life anyways. So don't crap on all immigrants, I'm a bigger asset to the UK than most native Brits. Please make a distinction between Western immigrants or highly-educated immigrants and immigrants who come for study or low-skilled immigrants or those who come here solely for family reasons.

The centre of Oxford is slowly being turned into an extension of the university and college campuses. There is already student accommodation on the main shopping street where retail units used to be, and the old department store is being turned into a laboratory. Most retail shops are being turned into eateries, and shoppers in cars are being actively forced out of the centre. The result is a footfall that is only interested in buying a coffee, while serious shoppers go online or try towns like Bicester and Reading.

They should have student visas, be there to study, take the time they need to earn all the degrees they want (up to PhD, MD, whatever), and then go home. That's what a student visa should be about. If they happen to find a job at a local company, fine. But that should not be the expectation. And that job should be in their field, not "starter" jobs in restaurants or shops.

It was obvious to some of us that Brexit was a waste of time. I abstained, not because I didn't want the same things as the Brexiteers, but because I saw it as a hyper-globalist movement. From day 1 I've been consistent in this view, all these trade deals even people like Farage want inevitably end in British jobs lost. I had had my fill of seeing our manufacturing outsourced to China and India, but Brexit to me was just this on steroids. This is why I take exception to suggesting Brexit was done, in the sense that the Brexiteers (by which I mean the campaign leaders) wanted it, then yes, Brexit was done, in terms of how the voters wanted it, no, Brexit was never delivered and it's unlikely to be delivered inside a generation.

People from India and Pakistan have a victimhood deeply hostile memory of history towards the UK. Visit any discussion on the British Empire in India. Make the most bland of positive comments with regard the British in India and suffer the entirely irrational (and in very good English) response. We should have a maximum percentage of immigrants from any single given country. I submit that we have vastly passed that percentage for both and should have very demanding criteria for any further immigrants from those two countries. Also, do we really want to import the on going strife between those two nations. If you must import from the Indian Sub continent, pick one. Pakistan Muslim or Indian Hindu. We can't have both.

I went back to university in recent years to study an MA, and alongside the awful Marxist/postmodernist indoctrination, it was shocking how culturally/ethnically diverse it was. Not just the students, but the lecturers too. The standard of teaching had declined considerably from when I was an undergrad, and some of the lecturers language skills were sub-par. Overall, it was an awful experience.

    A VISION OF STARMERGEDDON.
An example of what may happen if our next government do 1 Nothing to reverse the uncontrolled migration crisis. And 2 Nothing to manage the Water Companies whose incompetence had led to the current water contamination crisis :
Across the UK and Ireland the growth and spread of tent communities will likely increase the spread of diseases caused by poor sanitation. In Africa a disease called Noma is common. Noma is a potential killer disease typically caused by ingesting unclean water or food. Cases of Noma are rare in the UK but if you see someone who has it, it is a sight that you won't forget. Individuals with Noma have malformed faces that are ghastly and frightening to behold. They look like things from a horror movie.
Just a vision of Starmergeddon in the banana republic called Britain.
