For the scented book- put it in a plastic bag and stick it in the freezer for a few weeks- it should help with the smell. Also if you do bounce /dryer sheets- putting those in between pages will help with the overpowering scent
@@ThePetiteReader yeah I never would have thought of it but when I worked at a bookstore we had to do that for a few books that came in smelling weird and it worked really well! Good luck!!
Ive just becoem extremely picky at what i put in my library. So, i dont give myself timelines bc i love looking at my inread shelves and picking out a book when im in the mood. But, im very specific what i put in there.
Was debating getting "The Fury" but after you said it wasn't a thriller but a drama, im scrapping it haha. Thanks for helping me not grow my tbr as it is already getting out of hand! 😂
Hi Zsuzsi, hope you are well. I loved your book unhaul; so many new titles for my TBR notebook (and some DNFs to leave out). I see by your bio that you are a scientist. I was a haematology researcher at St Michael’s Hospital here in Toronto before I retired. Just out of interest, what do you do? Take care and good reading to you.
Absolutely loved the whole trilogy of Throne in the Dark❤ Since you were looking for recs: - Peaches & Honey: These Immortal Truths by R. Raeta - Court of Blood and Bindings by Lisette Marshall - Iron by Lisette Marshall - The Six Deaths of the Saint by Alix E. Harrow (only 30 pages, on KU, so I would suggest to go into this blind) - The Gods of Men by Barbara Kloss - Of Deeds Most Valiant by Sarah K.L. Wilson - Fly with the Arrow by Sarah K. L. Wilson - One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig
I just unhauled books that I read a chapter in or a few chapters in and I was just not interested in reading it at all. I took all of them to little free libraries and got some great selections to choose from. Little Free Library vlogs are the best.
@@ThePetiteReader I found Winter Garden & Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah, Wicked by Gregory Maguire, The Five Star Weekend by Elin Hilderbrand, The Similars by Rebecca Hanover, Girls At The Edge of the World by Laura Robson, and Vampirates by Justin Somper. I got the last one because I enjoy a good vampire book plus it had a matching bookmark with the book cover. This was also just at 2 little free libraries.
Yes to the little free library vlog!
Noted!! 🤗

Whaaaaat? Freezer?? 😮

The fury is beyond boring …
Always happy to be the agent for chaotic TBRs 😂
All good people here was such a good book. I read it in 2 days and I normally don't read that fast.
oh really? maybe I should give it a try...

I'm in the middle of an unhaul myself. I'm trying to only get rid of things I thought were only okay.

You know that the new Carissa Broadbent in the crown of nyaxia is coming out this November?
have you read anything by Johanna Lindsey? I love historical romance! I like Lisa Kleypas as well!
Not yet, but I will put her on my list! Have you read the Ravenels from LK? I'm obsessed with that series!
The beekeeper of Aleppo was heartbreaking for me
I couldn’t…
I dnf’d long live evil for the same reason
Then it’s just not me…
