WHY THEY'RE CALLED KINGS 1. They're still running in the KPOP industry for 14 years and now. So many scandals yet they're still standing on the stage. Performing. Hitting #1s on korean music streams without promotion or music videos published. 2. They're one of the KPOP groups who go international first. They spread the Hallyu wave all over the world. It's even impressive because internet is not really popular before, but that didn't stop them for being a star. Times, Grammy's, KCA, MTV, Billboards, etc. 3. BIGBANG helped introduce EDM (Electronic Dance Music) and Rap. Before, it was mainly R&B, Ballad, and Pop. 4. They broke the stereotypes. Before BIGBANG, every idols in a boy group were seen as robotic, flower/ boy style and with synchronized dancing and singing. 5. Idols were never considered as artists before with lyricism and production. They even influenced kpop artists of today to compose their own. 6. They're the celebrity of celebrities. Most people adore and are a fan of them. KPOP groups, actors, politicians etc. Mostly from KPOP industry. They're inspired and influenced by them. 7. The SONGS. BIGBANG doesn't create just create catchy songs, Some songs, the lyricism is so magnificent. They're meaningful and filled with emotions you want to feel. 8. Their stage presence. No one can beat their stage presence. The stage is powerful once they're performing. Every performance are eye catching. No lipsync reguired. All songs live.
9. BIGBANG saved YG Entertainment. YG Entertainment before BIGBANG is just a small company. But BIGBANG were struggling for food to eat because they don't have enough money and GDragon composes a song every night. But all the hardships are worth it. 10. Most fans don't idolized them because of looks, just pure talent. They were even called the "ugliest KPOP boy group" back in the days they were debuted. But people don't care for it, because the talent wins. 11. They're the first to use lightstick. Well before it was called "glowstick". Before it was just balloons and color to identify kpop groups. 12. They popularized EPs or Mini Albums. It started when they drop their album "Always" and with the hit song "Lies". That's why they're unbeatable. We can say, they're so many KPOP groups who are popular these days, but BIGBANG are untouchable. No one can imitate or copy beside themselves. Truly the legends of KPOP. They really deserved it.ô

sis same. my cousin who was in high school when i was between 5-8 years old, is a fan of kpop and a huge VIP and Blackjack. i always went to her house to watch tv because ours only hasthe local news channels that time. it's crazy looking back at it now that i've been listening to bigbang songs and watching korean idols with her. i couldn't understand before why she's so addicted to them, but now i do. even planned to save money for when they hold a concert, but the pandemic began :(( anyway, bigbang still brings me so much joy just by listening to their music. Hoping to see them all together in one stage soon :)

@@queenxena2688 wait what our story is really familiar, I knew them long ago because my sister won't stop listening to wedding dress, and I knew it was taeyang, then I asked her for more, then I knew a lot of bigbang, gd, and taeyang songs. The funny thing is, I didn't know they are in the same group til like 2012 when internet is better and I can see their faces more clearly 💀

My children 13 and 9 are total VIPs…especially my son 9 is gdragon big fan… im 39 and started being VIP when i heard their song LIES. Then thereafter its a crazy journey.

I graduated from University on 2012 during their Alive Tour. I've had the privilege of watching their Alive Tour in Manila in 2012 and Made Tour in Manila in 2015. And that was a moment to remember. I had to drag my feet home because of too much jumping on both occasions. One must experience atleast one Bigbang concert in their lifetime.

The adlibs make the concert unique. It can be the same set of songs but the adlibs provide that added texture for me.

What I like about Bigbang performance is that you're not just watching a performance, they make you feel like you're part of the performance. Which is amazing since not all performers are like that.
Why are we talking about age? Lmao, one of the older ones (let's just leave it at that) and was introduced to BigBang in 2012 during Alive era.
MADE made me decide to enter my crazy fangirling years (2016-2017). I watched their MADE concert in my country in 2015 and realized they will be entering the army soon so I tried to watch as much of their concerts as I can. I am thanking myself today for making that decision. I miss them so much.
In 2016-2017, I went to 14 of their concerts including solo ones - Motte(6) and WhiteNight(1). Slept in airports, got lost in some countries, marathon travels, was going from and to work with my suitcase straight from the airport... such an adventure.
I was here in MADE Final in Seoul. Just took a chance and queued for at least 5 hours for the ticket. I got one of the last ones and was way at the back in the top floor. Only got it because there was a commotion and people were running and I just ran with everyone. When they arranged the line, less than 10 people after me and they cut off the queue...so lucky. Fun times.

YAY Bigbang!!! This was an epic concert!! If they had come to any European country during this tour, I SO would have gone. But.. they decided that Europe isn't included in the "world" tour.. I'm still a bit salty about that... Hahaha Which graduation you guys want?? 2005 high school (I was 19 and yes I'm old (35 to be exact and a VIP since 2011). I'm from Finland, that's when we graduate from high school I'm not sure at what age you guys graduate in the US), 2011 bachelors and 2018 masters degrees. :)

That time, they have yet to release other tracks from MADE. Only LOSER and BAEBAE were released by then under M. Thus, the iconic BANG BANG BANG opening for MADE concert was not yet available.

This is the concert where GD faint during babe. During the performances you can see his drastic change from the killer performances to him practically falling on stage. But he pull throw and nobody notice. Nobody was aware this happened till MADE the movie. After the performances I belive the speech bigbang made was improvise because they couldn't concentrate. plus the look on their faces was a bit confused but they hide that well. Once you see GD return the conversation becomes more stable. I know that at the end GD is fine, but I can't help worry for him every time I see that performance. Either way he kill it during the hold concert, all of them did. They are great and they were also able to handle the situation really well.
They watched the Made movie so they know
I think it was in the first MADE concert not the Final one when GD felt sick. They have not arranged the songs that well yet and GD was performing continuously for too long plus they started the concert hard with BangBangBang so it was really tiring for him and his body kind of overheated. They made some adjustments after that so GD can have some rest.
@@teytan2026 you probably right but I believe everyone was mentioning this perform. Plus there GD stays on the stage with the rest when they perform babe. Then he exited the stage right after the performance. I could be wrong tho.
