Youre actually right, Jjk is more modern than Demon slayer so it wouldnt make sense in any way. Considering the timeline is when Rengoku died by Tengen's clothing we can assume that it's the Hashira training arc. Both timelines are not compatible nor can it be mixed. But with that said, it doesn't really matter because it's fiction 🙏
