Why do so many people refer the OM605/6 engines with turbos as Superturbo, even when they have no supercharger. Superturbo typically means you have a supercharger feeding a turbocharger.
It has more or less become a ”saying” in these areas where we live, turbodiesels have become superturbos because of the amount of boost they’re often driven with and not to mention all the black smoke they’re producing!😁 So bottomline it’s more of a joke than a ”term of actual specs”
I think Yellowspeed has some coilovers for the w201 models, but if you want to get more detailed information, I suggest you to ask Blomppo. (on instagram @blomppo)

I just saw you told someone you use a ZF 5 speed. I don’t know if you’ve seen but there are many adapter plates for OM605/6 and m104 on dieselpumpuk.com for all sorts of transmission like the 6 speed ZF etc.
@@saymehname Yeah we don't really wanna have anything to do with dpuk... But yeah we use mostly the 6speed zf, as they're quite commonly found in quite ordinary diesel bmw's and they withstand a lot of power as well!🤘🏼5 speed zf seem to be a lot harder to get a hold of these days.

Is a 8mm pump smooth for cruising? You have some "field ecxpience" with this i see. That black 190 is my kinda goal by looks and drivabileaty.

@@TheAbrunqaj With internals from a turbo engine it'll probably hold up longer. Turbo engines usually comes with better internals, so to make it more reliable it would be better to start from a turbo engine, but I guess a N/A engine could work at low boost and mild use of throttle🤷🏼♂️ But best idea is to start from a turbo engine of course!

Hey, Mercedes diesel community, stop calling super turbo to every Mercedes with turbo, there was actually a super turbo, it was like the father of all projets today, long, long time ago, and it was the original super turbo, made by a german guy in a time where nobody cared about this Cars, with a SUPERcharger and a TURBOcharger.

The white and grey 190 uses a 7.5mm pump, but the black 190 might be using a 8mm pump✌🏼

You can turbo charge literally eny engine as long as the engine’s not electric powered!
