Man what an awesome series! Building a CETME C now and this is a lifesaver. You are truly a master of rebuilds! Are you going to do a video on the parkerizing? I would love to see how you go about it. I was planning on welding up a bluing tank, but I want to keep the finish original, and honestly parkerizing seems a bit safer/easier than having a vat of ultrahot boiling caustic soda/nitrate

Parkerizing is a ton easier! Yes I will make a video on that

Nice Job JP! I enjoy you videos very much and appreciate the time you take to explain each step. Can't wait to see the final product!

Gotta love how it tosses brass away like it hates it 😂 nice work!

Some of them seriously flew a good 30 feet away! But they were in really good shape and should be reloadable quite a few times.

@@JPMachine you're a lucky man, then. My PTR abhors brass, and mangles the cases pretty bad. I'll see if it likes steel case any more next time I have it out.

I would love to have one of those. The kits are still available and cheap. Yes those radial stripes are the damage to the brass. Those stripes will cause case splitting. I'm a reloader so I've seen enough of those cases.

It was a fun, yet frustrating build. New territory for me as it’s my first roller lock gun! The flutes barely left any indentation at all, but I can see how it will weaken the brass. I’ve reloaded every round I’ve shot for the last 13 years but even with reloading this is a new experience for me! I thought I was done with split cases once I stopped shooting steel cases surplus 7.62x54r! lol

Nice job dude! You ever think about building one of these in 45 auto? Rhineland has a kit for it.

I thought about it when I was planning the build… just to stick with the pistol caliber builds, but then I opted for 308 for simplicity’s sake.

i reload for my hk and found out 4 to 5 reloads and the case is useless . but than hk's are hard on cases . just look the rim over very good most of my cases are done from the extractor grove being chewed up .
