Back in the day, I was wiring $500,000 houses with a few hand tools thrown in a cloth bag. Didn't have many options back then, except the standard belt attached pouch for pliers, strippers, etc. So many cool things you can buy now that help organize, transport, and secure your tools. I was born at the wrong time...
@@electricianron_New_Jersey I'm a builder with a serious Milwaukee tool addiction, my tools and pack outs are probably more expensive than my van....I see you are very much a Milwaukee 'Ho yourself Ron...LOL
You weren’t born at the wrong time; we are able to enjoy the new technologies because we stand on the backs of the hero’s who did the hard work before us. You did things when it was harder, and at the time was probably new to you.
Can never find a bag I like, always end up going back to my old Husky. After seeing you use the Veto TP-XXL I think I am going to pry open my wallet and pick one up.
I'm just about to retire ,but they make so many nice things now to make the job a little easier. We need so many hand tools as electricians and HVAC techs. Like you said, though, when you need that once-a-year tool, you want it right there. Good luck! The young kids can get a good education viewing your video.
I understand where you're coming from because I'm 52 years old and I have seen tools change dramatically and especially in the last 10-years. I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Nice bag💪 I ordered the Tech MCT Blackout v-swap during the spring promo, now I'm just waiting for my free TP-LC bag to arrive. You can't go wrong with a veto. I currently use the original tech MCT bag & MB2 bag. Good channel you have going, best of luck. 👍
I did the same thing because I certainly didn't need another tool pouch. I got this TP XXL and the freebee is said to be delivered in the coming months. I love this tool pouch for sure.
Great video - thank you! Looking at picking this up, still happy with yours? How’s the wear and tear on the bag after 2 years. Looking at maybe the blackout version of this bag. Not sure, so many warn of a black color tool bag - would like to hear your thoughts or that of others.
Yes I would highly recommend this TP XXL. It’s my every day carry for service. The tape measure clip on the front got snagged one day but it was totally my fault and it’s only a small test from the fabric. Everything else on it is still mint.
@@electricianron_New_Jersey Thank you for your response! Since your in the trade, any thoughts or anyone you know have the blackout version of the top-xxl and complaints on cleanliness or vice versa with the color you have?
Just curious. . . what made you decide to go from the OT-MC bag to the TP-XXL? I'm looking at upgrading from the TP5B that I currently use. I need something with a little more space and I like the open top design of the OT-MC but the TP-XXL also looks nice.
I don’t understand why people keep putting their drills and heavy equipment in these bags? They’re not meant for that. Plus it adds way too much weight. The idea is light and efficient.

It’s all great stuff - and very expensive too! The VETO stuff is worth it though.

I just picked up a Veto TP-4 for lighter loadouts. Great bag, love it.
Really liked the video, the bag review but even more you talking about your tools. I love it! Thank you so much for sharing!
Wonderful presentation and appreciate the tips. It’s a cool pack and I think Veto gear is sweet. Hope they see this and give you a few more toys.
Hi!
Thank you for the review👍
Does the t6 fit in side pocket?
Try a wera Kraft form scewdriver with the laser tips. You will be converted! I love Klein too but the wera tips are unbelievable!
I used all Klein hand tools at one point in time. I bought one Wera screwdriver and after that had to change everything to Wera
Nice bag! Just found your channel and looking forward to more vids. How about a van tour and talk about electrician tools.
Welcome aboard!

Nice video and good description on the tool bag swap.
Glad you liked it!
What kind of bag was that you were using before this new one? I really like it.

Carrying it around is the difference. The TPXXL is by far easier around my shoulder and easier in and out of doorways.
Klein nut driver 32809mag on the way, with passthrough.
I'm jealous. I'm curious what model your old Veto bag is/was?
That other bag is service upgrade bag for doing service upgrades, obviously. It's a Veto Tech OT-LC.
@@electricianron_New_Jersey Ah ok! Thank you Ron! The smaller Tech bag definitely looks like all I need for the basics.
Can it fit a Milwaukee 360 laser ?
I don’t think so.
Nice bag.
To make certain, that can not be UPS leaving that package on your driveway unless your dogs have been noted as a threat.
Or maybe I was there and asked the UPS driver to leave it there.
Nice bag, is this made in the USA?
check vetopropac.com
You should change it up and buy PB Swiss, Knipex and WERA. They’ll change your mind. I’ll check back in a month and two days to see new video.
Klein baby, Klein tools for life.
Life is too short. Try some Swiss and Germania
lol good one Ron@@electricianron_New_Jersey
Are you reviewing the bag or your tools ?
Did you watch the video?

Because being productive is part of the process.
Don’t think it’s a TPXL
You’re right! It’s a TP-XXL!
Respectfully it looks like you downgraded from the first bag
