The new exterior body styling features an entirely new front bumper and chrome grill configuration, LED Headlights with Day time running lights, and a slight bonnet bulge which complement is tougher and more rugged design ques.
The stronger body line is helped by a 20mm wider and higher tub sides. The new LED Taillights, rear sensors, new rear step and tailgate embossed with Navara helps to finish the exterior of the car off.
The soft close tailgate, with the assistance of a torsion beam, makes the tailgate lighter than ever to lift.
The locally developed 5 link rear suspension and dual-rate springs aim to deliver a more refined ride, superior comfort, and handling in all conditions, particularly in the rear seats
The rear seats now incorporate a centre armrest, Rear air-conditioning vents and a USB power source, the centre console also features 2 USB charging ports and USB data points under the air-conditioning controls.
Where you spend most of your time is up the front, The revised interior and dash make it far more user-friendly with the additions of a 7 inc digital instrument cluster which offers a host of handy information while you are on the road.
From the 4wd ST grade upwards the Navara gains a drive mode selector which allows you to change transmission characteristics from Standard to sport to tow and off-road.
The revised 8-inch touch screen incorporates the new addition to the ST, the around view monitor with moving object detection, Digital Radio, A tom tom GPS system with an apple car play, and android auto which assists with giving you another level of hands-free connectivity.
The Twin Turbo 2.3ltr diesel engine with 7-speed automatic transmission assists with delivering 140kw and 450nm of torque and fuel efficacy of 7 ltr per 100km for the 4x4 automatic.
The towing capacity remains unchanged with a total of 3.5 tons of braked towing ability.
The Navara has a whole host of safety features with the new addition of Intelligent emergency braking with forwarding collision warning, Land departure warning and intervention, Blind spot warning and intervention rear cross-traffic alert, and Trailor sway control which uses the cars vehicle stability control to apply braking force to all 4 wheels to assist with reducing the swaying of the trailer giving you even more confidence when towing.
CAn you turn these safety systems of perminately?
Can you get the ST with a factory heavy duty alloy tray?
They come standard with a tub but the tub is easy enough to remove in order to put a tray on.
Why doesn't it have smart cruise control?
Nothing has been confirmed as to why it is not there, after having a look there is nowhere to fit the cruise modual and still offer a bullbar and nudge bar option that wouldn't interfere the its radar. Is our guess.
