It has nothing to do with this particular video, but i need your opinion on something, i'm a bass head and people always recomend me the Skullcandy Crushers wireless they say that in that aspect they are the best and have overall good quality sound and have a great mic, but ive found the Sony H.ear on 2's at the same price and people say they have alot better quality sound and build ( design is also better in my opinion ) my question is, will the bass on the H.ear on 2 still satisfy me?
How does the volume buttons feel when pressing compared to the sound/chat buttoms? For me the volume buttons feels like they "lower in hight" and they goo too deep inside the headset when pressed ... like they don't have enough hight to press them firmly ... Where the sound/chat buttons have enough "hight" to feel like they are not going that low when pressed. I don't know it feels like the volume buttons feels different tan the sound /chat when pressing them. Also the sound is different when pressing them... is this at your headset ?
Can someone explain to me why, if this is an official headset ps4, why it needs that dongle to connect? Why can't it just connect like the controller?

I had the original ps4 gold headset and the build quality wasnt the best but the sound and mic was good but mine endud up breaking because of the hinges

I bought these today. I had the black version for a year now but they broke in the middle of the upper thingy that holds them together. Overall very pleased with them so thought I try the white version.

Didn't even know they had a white model of these seeing as I'm a huge fan of the ["Official"] PlayStation Headset line from Sony. I had the original black model of the New Gold Headset but traded them in for the 500Mil version, which look pretty darn cool with the clear dark blue. I agree that the white variant, while nice, I'd avoid due to my fear of getting it quite dirty. Recommend all that are interested to go for the original black one or if your lucky to find one the 500Mil blue color version. Great video as always @gamesky !

Same here, reset the headset. Turn it on and hold the mute button then turn it off. Worked for me.
I bought the same exact ones but the only issue I have with them is I get a lot of people telling me that my headset echoing bad. I watch lot of videos how to reset or how to get rid of the echo and nothing. Not to be happy with them and I’m going to return them soon as this damn corona virus is done and over with and game stop is open.

yes... my biggest problem is that even with sidetone i still cant hear myself. Others can hear me okay but i cant play in a quiet environment without speaking too loud

Hmm. Was curious, since I've had my eye on it and they're on sale now. Not having a boom mic is dumb. Small ear cups is concerning. Frankly a bit silly that it needs a USB dongle (why isn't it bluetooth? It's an official PS4 accessory, right?) Maybe this isn't for me. Helpful videos though, thanks.
I had the first Gen and the most annoying thing about them was that the cheap pleather material they used started cracking over about 2 years worth of time. I wonder if it’s the same for this Gen!??

Platinum ones are louder but with the app u can make the gold ones as loud as the Platinum so to save u sum money I'd recommend the gold.

Warren Albuna you have to adjust your microphone volume (ON THE PS4 NOT THE HEADSET). You should have a friend help you out in party chat, while you adjust the volume they can tell you if they hear you loud and clear or if its too loud or too quiet

I would definitely choose the white over the black. It can gather a ton of dust, smudges and fingerprints and you won't notice it because it's white all around. Only problem is that will the white color match with the rest of your gear!

It also depends on what ur friend had before and wat you’re comparing it against. TB 600, 700 and Astros all have better mics from my experience.

I don't like the new gold version. The ear cups are smaller ad the material they made it out of makes the ears feel hot after an hour of use. Miss the original gold version. I know people say theirs fell apart, but I have had mine for years and it still loos brand new. No cracks no peeling not a bit of a problem. Was looking for a back up pair just in case and these new golds are not going to be it.
the platinums didnt have the crisp sound i was use to with the gold originals .Ordered the gold remakes and BINGO best pair of headphones EVER ,sound is crisp not bulky simple and to the point ...WHOOPING AS C.O.D BLACKOUT HOT PURSUIT,MULTI PLAYER hearing every sound in HARDCORE Loving it My opinion GRAB THE REMAKES
My old headset snapped from both sides and I think that the reason is because every time u folde the headset cracks appears so that is why it will snap off.
