      Uwe has done a great job on the Torrie, expecting some good updates soon, although it is winter over there atm so it probably won't be out and about until the weather warms up a bit.

      Yeah it is mate. Still has some work to go before he can drive her in anger though

    I was shown by my engine builder he got Yella Terra to make up a set of roller rockers with a smaller hole in them making the oil feed to the heads more restrictive this stops the oil pump sucking the sump dry during high rpm when racing around the track

    This is so good. I lost the original links of this car in other videos. Said they were deleted. Happy to see it back on German roads.

    Has anyone suggested to put a oil drain in the back of each cylinder head, leading back to the sump.
    Along with a windage tray in the sump to stop the crankshaft dragging the oil up the side of the engine block.
    Just a suggestion is all.😉🙂👍👍

      @BorkenGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not sure exactly what he has done but he definitely has a windage tray now and he did do some work in the oil galleries.
      He reads the comments so I'm sure he will appreciate the suggestion.

      @@BorkenGarage cool, it helps no doubt about it.
      And then there is spark plug indexing, and choosing correct heat range plugs, for maximum performance and optimal ignition timing advance curve.
      Sometimes hotter plugs are required to us greater amounts of advance.
      Usually dependant on how much fuel is being supplied.
      Couldn't tell if he is using a carby or TBI that looks like a carby.
      Another obvious area is the amount of air speed going through air cleaner and through TBI or carby.
      2 inch space helps increase air speed. So does changing throat sizes to smaller ones with a simple, clip in reducer ring.
      Just a few suggestions that may or may not of been considered.
      Would like to see the man get that girl to really party on the tarmac.😉🙂👍👍

      @@steveveness3829 Yeah me too, I just want to see him fulfil his dream, it has been a long time coming. And yes he is running a Holley carb.

      Yeah would be great if we could just put whatever music we want on these videos. Unfortunately I don't have the $$ to pay for the rights.

    Would love a version of this with no music and just the music of the motor.

    • @BorkenGarage
      @BorkenGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We can probably do that, unfortunately there was a lot of wind noise but if people want to see the full drive I'm happy to do it.

    Or listen to “The Chatz” 6ltr GTR as a sound track. Funny song. Super Aussie song.

    Bigger oil pump might empty the sump to quickly, might be better of putting a dry sump set up on it.

    • @BorkenGarage
      @BorkenGarage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah he's gone for an external pump setup because he kept breaking the shaft on his oil pump. He is also doing some modification to the heads and block to help control the oil flow a bit better. More info in this more recent update - th-cam.com/video/NwDX2OvQAsk/w-d-xo.html

    Music over the car ?shit😢

      If you could hear the car over the extreme wind noise there would be no music.
      Sometimes choices need to be made....
      Here is the version without music - th-cam.com/video/6FCquGKe-Ro/w-d-xo.html
      Thanks for the feedback though.
