Boeing whistle-blower called it. They all said it's a matter of time before planes fall out the sky with all the used parts Boeing is putting on planes to save time and money.
da reverse thrusters were on meaning they were trying to slow down, you can see the split in the middle of the engines which means the reverse thrust was engaged. Unfortunately it looks like this pilot was going way too fast to try to land with no gear. I don't know if he was thinking they'd try to go around if they were unsuccessful but that doesn't make much sense if you're going to scrape your plane off the ground for a mile.
There was a reported bird strike not sure if that's true but they had emergency landing without functioning landing gear. Brakes are pretty important on short runways

Driving vs. Flying By the Numbers: The overall fatality risk is 0.23% - you would need to fly every day for more than 10,000 years to be in a fatal plane crash. 🤔

Why would you put a freaking WALL at the end of a runway?!?!
have you seen lindberg field? there's no wall, just ocean.
It’s an airport localizer and there wasn’t enough runway if the plane was not able to stop without brakes or landing gears.
The ocen is right there. There's no walls needed. The ocean would have stopped it and less fatalities.

I’m saying!! What’s going on with planes this month
Boeing whistle-blower called it. They all said it's a matter of time before planes fall out the sky with all the used parts Boeing is putting on planes to save time and money.
Lack of safety standards airplane mechanics today are forced to overlook problems.
If you're going to fly, there's a chance you can die.
2 planes so close together but this one was worse by far, praying for the victims and families involved
