Try another psu or try testing the psu to see if it is getting power

Could you please Mr Mike help me on how to restore back power to my A7G Openbox decorder.There was a power failure while I was still in the process of upgrading the software.when the light was restored back,my decorder refused to power ON back

I can get to the bios menu. But there is no way to navigate. I don't have a remote control I only have USB keyboard and mouse. They are plugged in but nothing. No cursor or anything. Do they need to remain plugged in the whole time or should you plug them in after resetting?
to be honest i only ever tried it with the remote, i would guess the USB needs to initialise on startup so connected from the start
I just bought a new TX6. Set it up, worked fine. Used remote to power off and now it won’t come back on. Tried unplugging everything but no lights no display nothing at all. There is a reset pinhole I would assume but it came preinstalled with some software and I’d like to keep those if possible. What am I doing wrong?

the usb cable version might be useful? that is often what i suggest if the reset fix doesn't work

Hello Mike ! Wonder can y help me ? Mine tv box cant even to reset.... it is x96 max . One day the blue screen on front of the box just stoped to glow and from that moment i cant torn on it ! was trying to reset it but it wont do it ! Is it completly dead ? ( power cable works , see red light torning on when the dc cble plug in. )
try the USB recovery method listed in the playlist, you will need to find your own recovery files though sorry

Mine is stuck in logo waiting forever, any suggestion. Before reset it was running cool , once I did factory reset kepps the logo screen only. (Tried hard reset and clearing cache)

Hai.. i just wanna to ask... I dont know what actually my tx3 mini problem.. the remote control cant connect with tx3 even i already buy the new one... First i though the remote having a problem.. then i tried your suggestion but tx3 only show boot the screen only show the logo tx3 mini.. can you suggest how to fix it ? Hai mike is nice to watch your vidio. But in my tx 3 pro its not working, I means its can not reset. I already klik the hidden button , but when put the power back its just start normally. Does you have any soluttion for me please?
you mean it doesn't do a factory reset? if it boots up normally use the factory reset option in the menu

Hi I got a problem with my box so I get into the recovery mode, but my controller is broken, so none of they keys work on the USB keyboard and on the USb remote that I have to select the factory reset option, what should I do ( my box is stuck in a boot loop so I can't install anything on it)
Try using the USB cable method in the other video in the playlist. You control everything from the pc rather than the box itself

Question, if anyone can answer. I have a TX 3 mini and I’m trying to use it on a TV. I’m trying to get the cursor to show up, but it can’t figure out how. Do I need to have a keyboard to even use the remote that comes with it? It makes trying to click on certain things literally impossible.
the cursor should appear as default i think

I have a Cubetek 4k android box. Once during the hard reset, the power
cut was interrupted due to which it was not fully reset. Then when the
power is turned on, only the Android box logo is visible.
There is no process even after turning on the power by pressing the hidden button.

due to the open nature of the android market there are some the same and 100s that are unique

Hello Mike. Thanks for the video. I tried installing rom atvxperience and i am stuck on a boot screen. I want to revert to stock rom. I have the rom but can't enter recovery. The screen on the box says "boot". How long do i need to keep pressing the reset button? Any help will be appreciated!
did you create a backup rom or recovery patition?
Thanks for you reply. It was not stuck on boot after all! I had the box connected to my 4k tv and it wasn't showing anything. I decided taking it to another tv and to my surprise it was displaying the setup screen. Crazy! All is fine now. 😊

hello I have a mecool pro w she does not have the reset button I've already opened it all I did not find this button where it is ezatamente the place to do that short to be known on the pc ????
You may have to find the shorting pins on the ROM itself. I'm not clued up on your particular TV box so can't tell you which pins you need to short. Do you know what chipset your box uses?

i have a Vontar tx92 7.1 -3GB of ram tv box which is the same as you show in the video. my tv box have a problem it stays on boot for a long time and i followed your instructions for a full reset recovery Wipe data/factory reset.
after i did the first step it took around 40 minutes waiting and after that came up with some text like.
E:failed to mount /cache (invalid argument)
E:Can't mount / cache / recovery/ log
E:Can't open/ cache / recovery/ log
E:Can't mount / cache / recovery/ last log
E:Can't open/ cache / recovery/ last log
E:Can't open/ cache / recovery/last install data wipe complete
etc. etc.
after i went to the second step Reeboot system now and after this it stays on boot for ever now i even can't open anymore the tv box. please can you help me with any advice i will be greatful...

Sir I am facing a big problem my android box tx3 mini , not on , the animation always spinning on screen , I also reset my box , but after starting I thought my problem got solved but open very lately , once when I touch the HDMI cable gives me shock , that day this problem started , 4 times I had to reset my box but sometimes box would not open

Hello Mike. I have a Tanix TX6 box with a strange problem, I wonder if you've com across before.
It works well on starting.
The menu screen is fine with full width picture.
As soon as I go to ANY app, there is a greyish bar down the right hand side.
It is actually blanking off that part of the picture (picture not shifted etc.).
Have you seen this before? Will rebooting back to factory reset cure this?

sounds maybe like an overheating problem? can you aim a cooling fan at it and try it?
@@mikesunboxing thanks Mike. I think not because it's there the moment I switch on. I called the people from the app I use for UK TV streaming and they offered to fix it for free if I sent the box to them. It came back next day fine. Then same again a few months later. That time it reverted after a few days.
The guys at TeatimeTV seem reluctant to tell me what they do. Could it be the Android version?

My TX3 Mini gives "Unable to open link" message. Will a factory reset help ? Do you have to reinstall all the programs after a factory reset?
maybe it will help, probably a better option to try an upgrade to the latest Android version first
my tanix tx3 max sold in the free market working perfectly I returned it locked in boot and turns on a red light after already tried another source of a reset and nothing
HI Mike, so here's what i've been through. First i have frozen the Alice UX using SD Maid, then downloaded another launcher called ATV. First i set ATC AS DEFAULT then turned off turn on, then Im stuck at bootloop after tx3 logo.......this is the last activity on the box.....do you know what is causing it? is it becaused i froze Alice UX?

you might need to reflash the storage with a img via USB to USB cable, i did the video on that USB fix also

Hey Mike - I have the Beelink Sea1. I did an update and somehow lost my HDCP key. I tried to reinstall the firmware but it goes in a continual loop and reboots. It does not give me emough time to get to the admin area before rebooting. I tried the papaerclip on the back 100 x and it does nothing what so ever. Any idea how I can get this thing up and running? I have been trying to reset to factory defaults and am so pissed at it right now I am about to take a hammer to it. Great video. I will try this way. And input would be great.

Hi claudio, have you tried installing the latest firmware? Also are you running too many apps on the background? This can cause audio stutter?

you should just be able to run the system update and the kodi / media player updates and it should be okay

tx3 is not supported for HD on netflix, the web version should work though
Hi mike i done the exact process as you did with holding the reset button but the recovery mode screen didn’t show up, it keeps showing me the Tx3 mini logo which it appears and disappear after a few second and it keeps going like that and nothing happens. What can i do?

I have an ABOX 1A plus that I picked up at a yard sale and it was working fine until just the other day when if would start up as usual but then sticks and cannot move to anything to open any apps. it does have a button on the bottom but I tried this trick and still the same. Should I give it up?

You might need to perform the USB firmware replacement I showed in the other video. Worked for me when mine went really bad
