I’d go with Ertiga even with the non-hybrid version. Suzuki is known for their fuel efficient and reliable engines. I haven’t seen any recalls of suzuki cars anywhere yet compared to other japan brands. Why? Your guess is as good as mine.
Wala na daw non hybrid version sa market. Sayang nga at mas mura pa noon.
My friend just got it last month (ertiga hybrid 2023) and for fuel tipidity grabe sobrang tipid and spacious for me yung leg room (5’5”). Tinulugan din namin sya and comfy naman 😊 we went to baler
Hybrid is the future
These were my choices but I decided to buy the Ertiga hybrid. Toyota have proven their worth and yes, we also own Toyota cars. But I was bit hesistant with this veloz, it has a lot of features which means the maintenance and repairs would probably be costly. My relatives were also leaning on toyota but after seeing my Ertiga, they were surprised, and saying maganda pala afterall. Loved the khaki color, it’s very unique. Also best for a student like me who only pays gas from allowance- plus the traffic, because this when the hybrid function works!😊
The style is simple yet elegant. Very spacious inside 😊 would go with the xl7 kung meron lng din silang hybrid. Coding exemptions is another deal breaker for me.

Im curious to see what the efficiency numbers of ertigas mild hybrid system. I dont think it would give much of an advantage to justify the price difference
Leaning towards avanza b'coz of its 6airbags and other safety features plus its a cvt for my manual driving habit. Isama na din ang looonggg soffffaaaa mooodddddeee para sa boom boom haha.......
But no doubt for suzuki, my 2017suzuki alto still fun to drive with less maintenance.

Mild hybrids are not included in EVIDA law. As per DOE "The primary reason is that these BSG MHEV systems are (generally speaking) assist systems not capable of propelling the vehicle on its own electric power without an internal combustion engine." I did research on how their mild hybrid works...in a nutshell...it's like a start/stop feature.🙁

if that avanza will have a hybrid variant, i'm sure it will cost so much more compare to ertiga hybrid.. ammenities like LED headlight? nah i would go for halogen type headlight.. why? if your LED is busted, you will replace the whole assembly.. while the halogen type, you can choose different types of bulbs or replace it with LED lights, just that and not the whole headlight assembly.. for the looks? i'll still go for ertiga.. those added safety features? i can manage to drive cars without them so why bother.. yes toyota is toyota so what?! suzuki is suzuki.. fuel efficient, budget friendly and coding exemption, the battle is over..😂😂😂
dude, the only reason I am interested in a hybrid/EV vehicle is that it is exempted from the number coding scheme even in the republic of makati!

i prefer the design and features of ertiga inside and out.
BUT SAFETY FIRST.
it is on this that i chose toyota. in case of any unfortunate eventuality, with 6 bags, i think chances of survival is higher.

Daihatsu gumawa ng Avanza. Sister company pero hindi toyota gumawa. Parang Nissan-Mitsubishi ba. Sister company pero totally different brand and tech.

I'm a living testament, have you heard uphills in Aurora province paakyat at sa kadulu-duluhan? Walang-wala sa uphill ng pa-Baguio. Yung Avanza 2023 G CVT namin ay 8 passengers inakyat nya yan ng walang kahirap-hirap, hindi pa ako naka manual mode nyan.

Hybrid assistance. B😁yyy. Itodo muna sa nos.3 ang aircon mo sa sobrang busog at alalay ng electric assistance nito. Eh 5yrs warranty pa ito kapag nasira. At kahit masira pa itong battery nito e tatakbo pa rin naman at aandar ang Ertiga mo. Yun nga lang balik ka sa normal mode dahil nawala ang electric hybrid assistance😁.

@@luzemmanuelluz5 d naman mahal, d pa nga ako nagpapalit ng transmission oil eh, I have a nissan CVT.. kung ang regular transmission oil is changed every 100K, ang CVT is 300K acdg to nissan.. ewan ko lang sa toyota..
