This was fun to watch! If you do this concept again, would you also consider making a partner video so we can also see your opponent's thought process and even see how accurate each person was when trying to play around the other?
awesome content! I wouldnt have thought how much skilled detail is required in a mirror matchup! This is an awesome format and a much needed change from the league videos. It could also be fun to try a balanced 1v1 with different meta decks, but this is better for challenging other players for sure!
While I loved this video, I think the real draw to playing against famous people in the community like this is the banter (thinking of Ludwig's Bro vs. Bro videos which are honestly only good because of the fact you can hear both parties conversing). I think it'd be really cool to splice in audio and clips with live reactions to stuff like big top decks, crazy stack situations, or major punts. Then ofc stream the event but keep the format the same outside of that
@@TheMathmath123 This is true, and I think that's cool; however, I did comment on this when I saw the video before watching during the ad roll at the front that TH-cam put there.
Another UW mirror vs Gab with his suggestions at the end sounds awesome! Also maybe a mirror including Teferi and FoN and maybe leyline binding to get rid of planeswalkers
@@studiobitbytegames6872 you can pay as much mana as you want, converge only cares about how many different colors you paid. TLDR; you can tap 11 lands to cast an x = 11 P-ending but the biggest permanent you could ever exile is 5, if you paid WUBRG.
Who should I play against next?
Gab's Podcast: soundcloud.com/midweekmetagame
Decklist: www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/5138353#paper
Well Spike is the obvious candidate, but you gotta save him for later ^^
th-cam.com/users/AndreaMengucci1 would be nice
Play Dimir Control.
Nice game! That speed was perfect to understand everything and watch a long game in less than 15 minutes
yes! and the quality of play is so much higher when there is no livestream aswell !
Wasn’t the Spell Snare at 8:39 specifically for that Snap?

Yellow Hat and HarryMtG an unexpected crossover, but a welcome one.
Uh?
Unexpected? They got a podcast together
Look man I just watch the videos. I don't follow the podcasts.
@@SharkbaitGamer42 bro he litterally said "on OUR" podcast at the start hahahaha

I would love to see a Spike vs Harry money match but Doomwake and Reid Duke are also pretty high on my list!
Why no spell snare on the snap at the end of game 1??
Nice to see a good control mirror! Keep up the good work!
He’s also the slowest player of all time 😂
Love it
Was the prismatic ending for 7 an MTGO bug or is that legal play in paper magic?
Legal play. Its an X spell you can pay as much as you would like!
@@HarryMTG can you explain further? Does converge take into account colorless mana and multiple instances of colored mana??

You mean he did beat you in a control mirror.
Why did you not play FoN?
It’s skill but also can’t forget that luck of the draw is a not an insignificant factor
The best way to lose 100 buckels
I’m a simple man I see UW control I like and comment for the algorithm
My guy
Game 1 you were like "this snapcaster locks up the game" with a spell snare in hand
Yes, but if I counter the snap then I cannot animate Colonnade as I will lose 1 life from Flooded Strand making it a lethal attack.
Lol
@@HarryMTG don't you also make a 1/1 as a blocker?
You could still animate Colonnade with 5 mana left, am I wrong?
@@alessandromangiagalli5976 it would be tapped
no verdict? (Insert megamind)
gg do this more this was great!!!!
Riveting gameplay
control mirrors were so interesting before t3feri
can you make a deck with training grounds for modern pls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Or all about luck
lol. gab's just better.
2 players playing anti-game i rather watch 2 players in pokemon playing stall... that is also anti-game
you drew terrible in the game 1.
Misleading title
Nice clickbait. Take your dislike.
That was the most boring match of magic ive ever seen.
