This song was on my old TH-cam channel, PopPianoMiidi, which was deleted due to copyright a few years ago. I thought I'd brush it off and try to correct a few of the errors in the old .midi file. Support the channel on patreon and get access to .midi files: www.patreon.com/eltonsnotes
This isn't me it's a sound program playing a midi file. I write out the sheet music then export that into a .midi format for playback. I can play piano but nowhere near as well as Elton, very few can.
I just try to write out what was played. It's not perfect and there are a few errors but that is what happens when you ask a machine to play what a human does. Machines play everything perfectly but even the best performer will slightly speed up or down. There are things like accidentals which I don't bother transcribing either. I wasn't aware of Aldy, but after watching his video I can agree it's similar. The similarity probably comes from us transcribing the same song and same performance.
@@eltonsnotes5492 Thank you for explaining to me. Also Im trying to transcribe Limecover's Dont Let The Sun Go Down On Me. And I noticed you already did the same, was it note for note, or did you add your own licks and spins? And to the transcribing accidentals comment, I noticed that from Honky Cat Ephesus there was a mistake where Elton was playing something different at the beginning of the second chorus. So that was neat
@@BenjiDarius Yes, he played a wrong chord in the 2nd chorus of Honky Cat. If I remember correctly he played a B C# and E chord when he should have played a B D# and F#. I 'corrected it' for the midi file lol. The LimeCovers rendition of DLTSGDOM is note for note how he played it, I enjoyed it too much to change anything about it.
@@eltonsnotes5492 Ahhh, thats a good ear honestly, because I only caught the bigger mistake (which was him doing the left hand verse thing (idk what im talking about)) Basically he was on D as if the verse was starting, and forgot to play the chorus. But yesss!! Limecovers is seriously amazing and youre a blessing because I always wanted to play a live version of Honky Cat and Limecovers's DLTSGDOM! So thank you

Would live to see an overhead view of your hands playing this just to see the technique

Will you have mdid downloads for your work
I feel like this is the same as Aldy's but at the same time not
But this one seems more calmer, Aldy turned his version into a pop rock song
