- In this video I show the past few months of some little free libraries I've visited while searching for Jack Reacher books. Let's see what we can find.

A lot of cute libraries! Fun
Thanks. 😊
This was a nice early morning for me, enjoying a cup of coffee (mild slurpin) and watching your video. My daughter said the kitchen sounds like a spa with your background music.
I give you full slurping rights when you watch anything I make... also let your daughter know I was editing my video while I was at the spa so that is probably the music she hear. :)
I can’t be the only one upset that you didn’t snag those goosebump books😂😂 I honestly need to check out my local little free libraries I have around where I live. There’s probably 10 within a 10 mile radius around me😂😂
Def. do it... it's exciting wondering what might be... I feel Goosebumps were after my time... that or I never read as a kid and just missed out. When I was editing I did think to myself... wow that was a treasure trove right there... even if I swapped out for my person library. LOL
That Donald Westlake hard case crime….❤❤❤ I need that!
This is why I like doing these... hopefully I can remember this name and try to pick one up next time.
Always feel conflicted taking the goosebumps ... want some one else (younger than me) to enjoy them... hate to see them get faded and left behind.
All thise little libraries were in great shape, the ones around home base have seen better days.
Fun video.
Sounds like you and Austyn would have been wrestling for those Goosebump books. LOL I believe Goosebumps were after my time... I've never read them but I hear you guys talk about them all the time. That was a stack of them tho wasn't it? LOL There is one in my other LFL video that was huge but falling apart... half of it was closed because it was so bad. LOL
The little free libraries in your area have gold compared to the crap that people leave in my area. Ian McEwen's Atonement? Your neighbours are obviously more literate than mine. Ken Follett! That's automatic gold in that last one. Thanks for the tour.
Yeah your the second one to say that about Ken Follett... I screwed up... I thought this was the author James (littlebiglibrary) talked about but I couldn't remember for sure... should have just grabbed and if it wasn't the right author trade it back in... I'll be keeping my eyes out for this guy next time.
You're making me want to go on an adventure to try and find some of these around me haha. Great vid
OH man out your way I'm sure it's few and far between. But if you do I'd be interested in your finds for sure!
I was just listening to the Psalms before seeing this video, I appreciate the verse. Nice video, I looked to see if any books grabbed my interest, there were about three of them that did.
Psalms are great... I have a group of guys from church that plan on reading 1 chapter a day of Proverbs. Works perfect with 31 day months. Yeah I always look while editing and wonder if maybe I should have grabbed certain books. LOL
I was listening to an audiobook of Proverbs yesterday, but I kept thinking, I really should read and meditate on these Scriptures. Doing a chapter a day is a great idea.
Really cool video, I’ve never been to any of our little free libraries. I may go for a drive in a day or 2 and check them out.
Def. check some out.... Usually junk but it's always fun just incase there is something good. Super bonus if you find a book your actually looking for too.
@@FacelessBookReviews there are so many books I want to read maybe I can get lucky
@@RowdyPlayer1 Be sure to take us along or at least do a book haul on anything you get from one.
@@FacelessBookReviews I will see what I can do
You found some well stocked LFL. I haven't had much luck in my area.
That seems to be a common thing... I'm guessing I have some pretty good neighborhoods around me then. Your like the 3rd person who has said the same thing. That's too bad because these are a great way to have fun and possibly find something interesting... oh and it's free for cheapskates like me. :)
I saw a Ken Follett book. -Jackdaws? That is probably a good one. The Steve Jobs book I know is good. By now you will have realized I didn't send those two Reacher novels. Nice video. -James
I thought Ken Follett was the guy you give praise for but wasn't sure if I was getting the wrong name... Now I know and will try to remember to check one of these out if I come across him again.
@@FacelessBookReviews yeah. I enjoy Ken Follett books. I have about 8 that I haven't read. I will get with you later this month about the rest of the Reacher books. The Vet bill set me back a bit but I get paid only once a month. I will have them to you before the end of the year for sure.
@@Littlebiglibrary James don't worry about sending the others... Trust me I have plenty to keep me busy. Gotta keep that money for a rainy day for Bella. I will def. keep my eyes out for Ken Follett from now on. Get one and see what he is like.
What a cute little free library you have!! Must be nice to have so many nearby options. We have none, in my small community, but I'm thinking of putting one up. There is one out on the highway between here and Yreka... and several in Yreka, mostly placed there by the county library system.
Thank you... made it last year. :) You should start your own... When you buy the plaque it registers your library and people can find you using the app. I'm in the middle of no where and I get people using it now and again.
Dude, you have a ton of these, I have maybe 2 and they are full of kid and romance.
What you don't realize is that these are probably within a 70 mile radius. They aren't all near each other... if I'm in a certain part of town I visit the ones in that area. I also just like to ride the motorcycle so I don't mind going out to some of the further ones out in the Adirondacks.
It's a nice idea isn't it. Happy reading.
Not many of us men who do these. I can only think of 1 other channel other than yours that has done these book exchange type videos... We are trend setters my friend. :)
@@FacelessBookReviews Sounds good to me! Best wishes to us both!
i enjoyed this
i would have grabbed that matt haig and both the frieda mcfaddens
i wish i had more by me
Absolutely busted!!! I DID take both those Frieda McFadden books... LOL I only had 1 book with me to trade in and didn't want to go on record as taking 2 books and only leaving 1. So I did some TV magic and showed a 1 for 1. LOL BUT I will be dropping another book off next time I'm there or in the area... I was wondering if anyone was going to notice that there were 2 out of 3 in that series. LOL Well done Trapper you are always on the scent...
Your little free library is so cute!! I love it. Is there a specific reason its dated 1876? Glad you found some books. How many books do you own? I like the instrumental music but I actually prefer hearing your voice. But maybe I'm biast😂Great vid
Thanks... I actually enjoyed making it. Went with the general store idea because I'm not good with woodworking so it could look rustic and not square and get away with it. :) 1876 was the year I was born. Ok so it was just a year I picked at random. LOL Thanks for your intake on the voice vs music thing. yes you probably are bias but that is ok. :)
@@FacelessBookReviews lol i almost asked you that, no lie!🤪But i didn't wanna get yelled at for making another old age joke so😁
@@Writing4Jesus247 😂
There never seems to be anything but crap in my Free Little Library. I've left plenty of decent books in there but people have a tendency to take all the books I leave and not put anything back!
I'm starting to think my area is into reading... I didn't even go into the biggest town this time and there are probably 5 or 6 in that town alone. So many people are commenting on not having good LFL which is a bummer.
I’ve heard The Swarm is really good! Nora Robert’s writes romance. I’m sure you e figured that out by now. 😂
Yeah I'm super excited about The Swarm and that Nora Roberts book actually isn't a romance... check it out it sounds pretty good. My wife busted my chops when I walked in with it... she was like... Nora Roberts huh? You know she writes romance... LOL I was like yeah but this one isn't romance so shove it... ok well I didn't say the last part but it sounds tough. LOL
@@FacelessBookReviews You better not talk to your wife that way!!
Goodreads says it’s a romance but, they often put tags on things that shouldn’t be there so you’re probably safe.
@@Maeve_Ever_Books Ok so you made me nervous and I had to double check. It's definitely not a romance. It sounds apocalyptic. What I didn't realize is there are 3 books in this series as of now. This is book one tho so that is good news.
@@FacelessBookReviews Ohhh. Now I’m extra curious to see what you think of it.
Did you grab that Nicholas Sparks for your next cozy read???
I did grab a Nicholas Spark in one I didn't record. LOL it's called The Lucky One which didn't sound like a romance novel so I grabbed it. I actually enjoyed the other one I read by him which was a romance. LOL Kind of like his writing even if I'm not a huge romance guy... Let me know if you want to do a buddy read on one of his romance novels. :)
@@FacelessBookReviewshard pass 😂
@@kevintowle9665 😂
i was going to joke about why you didn't take the nora roberts book... and then you did! 😂 i didn't realize she has written non-romance novels
also, have you seen/read the martian by andy weir? i've seen the movie, but not read the book.. seems like it might be a good one
That's funny because when I came home with that one my wife started busting my chops that she was a romance author... and I was like... ok but this book isn't romance. LOL
I have seen the movie Martian so not really interested in reading the book... altho I liked the movie I kind of know what is going on and not sure I would be that interested knowing the plot. However I have read Project Hail Mary by this author and I loved that book. I would recommend this book for sure.
@@FacelessBookReviews ahhh haha nice
gotcha gotcha, ya I've yet to read Project Hail Mary but it's on the list!
First!!!!!!🎉
Awww... I'm usually the first on your videos too but that just means neither one of us has a life. LOL
I can never understand why some books don't have a synopsis but have loads of authors praising it. How are you supposed to know what the book is about? It's the same when bookshops put price stickers over the synopsis. I don't have many near me, there's one in the town.
I completely agree with you David... how do you not have the synopsis in the book? I get it if it's a hard cover and it's on the jacket and the book doesn't have the jacket anymore. But this Year One book isn't a hardcover. Dumb! Thanks for watching. :)
