I’m 57 year old, 30 years practicing psychotherapy, love them, their music, their message, their art, and more importantly their genuine desire to help others.
I'm 61 and hadn't been excited for music for a long time until I discovered BTS. The last musical artist that really spoke to me was Steely Dan (1980s). Their political songs kept me going in October/November when I thought the US seemed overwhelmingly hopeless.
Didn't we have the worst music to dance to, growing up? But I'm like you, BTS hooked me somehow, enough to pull me out of a long depression. First time ever that I've stayed up all night waiting for a new song to drop.
Sorry ahead of time for this crazy long comment, lol. BTS had and have a lot of haters for a variety of reasons, and I know it can be hard for a newcomer to understand sometimes because they are such genuine people and their music and talent is so clear, and everything they stand for is uplifting ... why would anyone hate on them? So I compiled this sort of summarised explanation. 1) When they first debuted, they were from a small no-name company. The kpop industry was completely dominated at that time by the "Big 3", three entertainment companies that had so much power, money, and influence that it was considered nearly impossible to be successful if you were not from one of those three companies. BigHit's lack of money/influence made BTS an easy target for mockery and mistreatment and there is some indication that this was encouraged in the Korean media behind the scenes by the other companies. BTS was treated very poorly on Korean media early on, and this is actually why they rarely go on Korean variety shows now, and why they created their own variety show, Run BTS. They were mocked and mistreated so much when they went on Korean variety shows, BitHit just refused to put them in that position anymore. Gosh, there are some awful clips out there. The hosts of shows making fun of their names, their manner of speaking, calling Jin - to his face - the least talented member. One time Suga made a rap for a set of hosts he really admired and they made fun of his rap and told him they didn't want it. Once on a show, Jungkook bought and brought cheeseburgers to share with the cast, and they not only refused his gift, but made fun of it and said the food looked like leftovers. And most of the boys were still minors when this happened, being treated this way by adults significantly older than them. 2) Despite all the hurdles inherent in where they started, they began to be successful fairly quickly for a small kpop group from a small company. This immediately sparked fan wars with fans of other groups who saw BTS's rise to success as a threat to their own groups' success and standings. Notably, when BTS won artist of the year, the first kpop group not from one of the Big 3 to ever do so, they were met with middle fingers from the fans of one other group. Those are also the fans who accused them of plagiarism and being copycats. A lot of these haters will claim that they dislike BTS because they are 'overrated', but what it really comes down to is that BTS rose higher than their favorite group(s) and they were angry about that. 3) Both RM and Suga left the underground hip-hop scene to join BTS. They did this because sharing their music with the world was important to them, and Bang PD promised them artistic freedom. However, rappers from said hip-hop scene (many of them notably older than RM and Suga who, remember, were both teenagers when they joined BigHit) called them "sell outs", mocked them for wearing make up on stage, said they weren't really hip-hop, harshly criticized their rapping, and said they would 'never make it'. Hence why RM says at one point in their song Bulletproof Pt. 2, "Hey guys, come here, take a preview, a plot twist presented by a mere idol. Hyungs who are only full of their hip-hop pride told me it’s impossible, look carefully at me, placing a period on it. I'm possible - Is it good now, boy?" 4) There is a stigma surrounding both kpop and boy bands (of which BTS is of course both) that they aren't 'real' artists and that their music is just for silly teenage girls. As such people don't always take them seriously or even give their music a chance. Even just recently a German radio host went on a horrifically racist rant about BTS's cover of Fix You, calling it blasphemy for a boyband to do the cover and saying "unplugged" was a complete contradiction to the entire concept of a 'boyband'. He called them names and compared them - an Asian group - to Covid and said he hoped someone came up with a vaccine against BTS soon. 5) The United States music industry is, frankly, xenophobic and can't get over the fact that BTS sings in Korean. Honestly, so are a lot of people who won't give their music a chance. The number of times I've heard on TH-cam comments about "why would someone bother listening to something they can't understand" is almost as much as the comments I've heard making fun of them because they "look like girls." Sigh. So, yeah, suffice to say .... they have had and still have a lot of haters for a lot of stupid reasons. And ARMY gets sensitive - sometimes too sensitive - about criticism. But Mic Drop was kind of their 'last farewell' to their haters. The, "You know what? It doesn't even matter anymore. Don't even bother apologizing. We're doing great," song. Cypher 4 as well as their song Ugh also reference that they simply don't care about their haters anymore.
Great comment! Thanks for taking the time to type all of this out for her so she could better understand why they had/have so many haters. 💜 they deserve nothing but love
I am 43 and my mum 62, we are both hard-core ARMY! PROUD OF IT!!! 😍💜 The things these boys went through to get to where the are and still staying humble is what drew me to them. Their music, their love for us and their different but amazing personalities has me hooked....I am tangles up in their web and have no desire to escape! 😁💜
I’m a 38 yr old lesbian that is a hard core ARMY 💜 while they are all Gorgeous I’m here for the talent they caught me with their music and performances and stole my heart with their genuine and humble personalities. I’m such a huge fan girl it’s insane but I wouldn’t have it any other way because they are just that great. Glad you decided to go on this journey because everyone should get to know these amazing artists
I'm 55, and I love these guys. It's not about being a "Cougar", (although I think they are all VERY cute) its about the power and message of their music. I have been listening to them for about 6 years now, and their music has gotten me through some tough times. They have the power to make me smile, and make my heart feel better. Don't put us older gals down for loving them. After all....we are the ones that are buying most of their merchandise, and concert tickets! Enjoy your journey! Borahae!
I'm a 54-year-old mother of a 19-year-old ARMY (she's been a fan since the Wings era...I liked what I heard her play but it was the success of Dynamite that finally made me stop and pay attention then try to learn more about them). I'm definitely no cougar. 😂 I have more of a motherly or auntie attitude towards them (although I'm not dead, so obviously I know how gorgeous they all are). Mostly I just love their music and live shows, and their other content (Run BTS, Boy Voyage, In the Soop, interviews, etc.) just make me LAUGH. And this past year I have really needed reasons to laugh. There is a saying that "BTS finds you when you need them," and I am a great example of that. I enjoy your reactions. It's always nice to see someone else fall under the BTS spell.
Awww, I'm a 33 year old Army (2015) and my daughter is a 13 year old Army(2018), it took her 3 years to get into Bts. My niece was Army since 2014, she is 17, she got me into Bts. We have streaming parties, karaoke, and we watch Run together, my family thinks were crazy, especially me.
Can totally relate! My mum (62) is Yoongi bias I am (43) Tae bias We are definitely not cougars. We love them but In a noona/omma type of way. I love them to bits! 💜
@@RI_NZ17 Exactly, my older sister jokes saying that I have sexual intentions, I get soo disgusted, I cant think of these guys like that, its like a auntie/motherly/older sister admiration and proudness. I love her to death, but she can be nasty.
@@JesusOurLordandSavior unfortunately not every one can understand pure feelings. I look at Tae and always say...I can't with this boy! He is so beautiful...I love him so much. With 0% desire to do any things but cook them a good meal and hug them when they are sad. I seriously cried my eye out after scummy. Seeing their puffy eyes brought out the mama bear in me ....and I wanted to give them a hug! Girl I totally get you, you aren't alone! It doesn't matter what ppl think of us. We know how true and pure our thoughts and 💜 is.
I’m in my 50s, from New Zealand. I’ve never been a true ‘fan/stan’ of any musician since Queen in the 80s! It’s not their faces that grabbed me, it’s their sincerity and talent.
I am a 46 year old woman and I also view the BTS guys with maternal affection and (weirdly) pride. 😄 I call them my "precious sons," a phrase I learned when I lived in Korea.
I'm 51, a very proud ARMY!!!!!! My whole life has been around music from Michael Jackson, Queen, Nirvana, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Whitney Houston, Shania Twain, Toby Keith, Frank Sinatra, Tupac Shakur, Eminem,Backstreet Boyz, cold Play to Bruno Mars and many others. Let's be honest nowadays singers are not anymore as they used to be, the music is not good enough anymore so if I wanted to listen good music I had to go to the past. BTS is the only one group that is at the same level of the biggest artists. YOU SHOULD ABSOLUTELY REACT TO BTS HARDSHIPS XCeleste!💜(sorry for my English)
You know what Raquel? Same. I am 30 and was raised listening to a combination of rock, metal, gothic, alternative... and it is still the music that I listen to (still playing my old playlists) and BTS hahaha proudly!
I am an American 42yrs old ARMY of over 4 years now. I am a nurse who has has 8 brain surgeries and is now facing her 9th. When I got was dealing with my 8th brain surgery and disability became debilitating to where I could no longer be a nurse it was my 27yr old daughter that introduced me to BTS and their lyrics. Their lyrics mean the world to me an they helped me to regain the composure that I needed. I learned that my disabilities are just part of me and I still need to love myself to love others. I respect them for their talent and the change that they are making on the world not for their looks. I love how they are all specialist at a talent and willing to teach others. They are the best representation to youths today and that is what we need 😏💜💜
Tianna: "ion know what it is, he just look like John Cena to me" **while circling a mouse over John Cena's face** I almost died laughing. Can't wait for you to get into their dance practices, solo songs and live performances.💜💜
When you say you're mad about the hate they received, please keep in mind that that hate is *still* happening. For whatever reason, people hate seeing them succeed. It makes me frustrated as a fan and as a Korean person. Thank you for recognizing the blatant racism as not a lot of reactors do. They were robbed of a well-deserved Grammy this past weekend, sparking debates of racially charged motives (which is completely true). I just hope you know that they work so hard every day, even now, to overcome the hurdles of expectations from society. Don't let this deter you from our fandom. We ARMYs have each others' backs. Welcome to the family! Armys need to have thick skin and stick together. Fighting!
Welcome to the ARMY! I'm 30ish, BTS was never something I'd be into even musically. Bored one night I watched 1 video and then another...binged watch for a week and haven't stopped since. Now my best friend came an Army during the pandemic. Can't wait to see your reactions to Suga's solo work and funny videos. His whisper "Suga" at the beginning of his verses gets me every time
Thing is, the topics BTS sing about are universal and apply to all age groups. I mean, struggles don't stop at 35, or 40, or 45 or whatever. I'm 44 and still struggle with self-love and confidence and identity...these things aren't just the struggles of young folks. I think that's why we're drawn to them.
Welcome... lol I am 59 and I wish I had this positivity in music in my younger years..music has always been important in my life and if I had these messages that these 7 humans are putting out there in the world...what a better world it would have been now... better late than never. I am so proud to be army... I wish nothing but the best in life for these good and humble men. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🇨🇦
They didn't get a Grammy, yet, though. RM just meant that the fact that they were invited in 2019 was already a big achievement given that they are a Korean boy band.
I believe Anderson Cooper said “they look nice” while he was on camera but said something ruder off screen. BTS went live in the middle of the night after not getting the Grammys this weekend to talk and console army! Who does that. They are amazing. And I’m 44, my 15 yr old and I are both army and proud of it💜💜💜
I’m the same! I’m 43 and my army daughter (since wings era) is 15. she’s actually the one who introduced me to BTS. It’s now something we bond over together 😊
ceztlavie Yes, same for us! Great to see other mother-daughter teams that can bond over them. Just love that they have a great message, are kind and are so much fun to watch. Especially this year, something positive to focus on🥰
I'm actually an older ARMY myself... I'm 32! I was 28 when I found them. Lol when I went to their concert in LA it was interesting to see the different kind of people there. Age, race.. it was really cool.💜💜💜
Thank you so much, I know I also requested this! Welcome to the crazy world of Kpop competition. 63 year old grandma here. I'm definitely no 'cougar', but I wouldn't mind adopting them all!! It may seem a lot of criticism comes from America because those are the clips you were shown, however, the majority of the criticism and hate comes from fans of competitive Kpop group fan bases. Competitors will go through all of BTS's reaction videos and down vote them, just because you didn't react to THEIR favorite group. Fan bases in Korea are VERY powerful...their fans' complaints can get members kicked off or punished. The Entertainment Labels are VERY powerful...they can keep other groups from performing in contest, on television shows, commercials, etc. Korean entertainment, including films, kdrama and music are Korea's 'bread and butter' and it's sad what they put these young people through at very young ages and then the guys have to go off, one by one, to military...totally disrupting their careers. (BTS recently blessed with a 2 year delay by the government) Don't get me wrong, I love all of their productions, but the contracts, schedules, and rules they must abide by are grueling. I'll suggest again that if Suga is your bias, please watch Daechwita followed by the explanation video on channel DKDKTV. The solo production was done all on his own and understanding the history/significance of his songwriting is genius. Mainly the song is about 'self'....which 'self' he was and which 'self' he's become and which 'self' he wants to be....all goes back to the Carl Jung theory Map of the Soul. BORAHAE!! (I purple you). HALMONI (Grandma) Kim
The demographic never lie😃.. They just evoke every moms maternal instinct, being a mom myself.. You just can’t help but love them for their sincerity and personalities.. You just want to hug them and protect them at all cost.. BORAHAE💜💜💜 i hope you will enjoy your journey as much as we have and always will🥰
sorry for spamming the comments section but i just wanted to say that i've watched a lot of reaction videos and you can tell when someone genuinely likes BTS or is just reacting to them for the views because ARMY traffic is crazy. watching you, it is so obvious that you're really interested in BTS and that's what makes me want to watch even more of your videos. you a real one. looking forward to even more BTS reactions!
I'm about to turn 38, been ARMY since 2018. Seen them 3 times live in New Jersey (2018 & 2019) and it's the best concert I have ever been to in my life. I sang (English parts and some Korean parts I learned haha), I screamed, I cried (please react to Epiphany, its Jin's solo and I cried all 3 times I heard him sing this live, and a few times in the car 😔) the energy throughout the whole show is just amazing. And they are multillionaires but still SO HUMBLE. They are just 7 amazing human beings who want to share their music and help heal people all around the world. Welcome to the ARMY! 💜
Wow I read so many comments below about how they were introduced to BTS. After reading all those inspiring stories, I wanted to share mine too. I am 35 years old woman, who never really stan for any pop singers before. I was busy chasing my dream and always thought being a fan is an useless time. Now, I achieved a dream, became a woman with a professional career. Then, I heard "Run" by accident and it changed the whole view of seeing myself and the world. I realized how I've been forgetting the beauty of my youth and beauty of so many things out there, and I discovered by BTS. Also, I finally lost weight successfully, after listening to BTS. Knowing how passionate, patient, and persistent they are, gave me energy to not quite on losing weight.
The Asian theory version fills in the gaps , this is good but u will get a better understanding after watching the Asian theory version of bts history ..
For the record- BTS was the only artist at their label until TXT debuted in 2019. You should check them out. They are BTS’ dongsaengs (little brothers) group. They have really original choreos. They started out with younger type stuff (Crown, Cat & Dog, 9 and 3 quarters), as they were still in the 16s and 17s, but then as they hit the age of maturity you can really see their music get darker and more mature (Can’t You See Me, Puma, Blue Hour). Now the company bought out a smaller company, acquiring a few more groups (most notably Seventeen, who is a self written, self produced and self choreographed group. They have insane choreo that are crazy in sync) and have another group formed through the competition show I•LAND, called Enhypen. One very important thing BTS did was pave the way for other small groups to win awards. Before they won, it was only the big 3 companies who ever had artists topping things and winning the big awards. The Big 3 (SM, YG, and JYPE) dominated everything, including the variety and music shows (because they own the broadcasting companies). So BTS growing without the big companies supporting them (in fact, trying to make them fail) meant that other small labels could promote their artists without others. It also led to BTS being huge internationally, but not being a huge deal really in Korea. BTS and ARMY don’t even call them KPOP, because the kpop genre didn’t support them and held them down, keeps attacking them. So BTS’s genre is BTS. Seriously watch the struggles and hardships video. It’ll kind of give you a perspective on why ARMY is so protective and proud of BTS, as well as give you a bit of background if anyone tries to start something.
New sub. here from Canada. Love your reactions...btw I am a 63 year old male who is a big fan of bts...I grew up listening to the biggest and best groups like the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin etc. and I'll btw is the best I have seen in all my years.
They accused being copy cat from EXO because they wearing school uniform in their music videos. But EXO is not the first group wearing school uniform in music video. Shindong from Super Junior accused them in television show. It is no logical, but media who have influenced by Big 3 (the 3 company which biggest in South Korea's entertainment industries) still make this kind agenda to drag BTS. No wonder many ARMY so protective to BTS, sometime they over doing it :)
I am a 48 y.o mom to 4 teenagers n just a casual listener to BTS song (not sure whether I considered myself an Army but almost everyday since 2020 I hv bn listening n rummaging thru all BTS contents. I’m surprised too as I’m not the type of person to really go hard n deep into an artist. It all started when my husb bought a BTS face mask for my youngest daughter thinking that she must be a BTS fan (obviously daddy bn too busy working flying around all the time😁 that he didnt realise that his daughter is a Harry Styles (1D) die-hard fan. From there I became curious abt this BTS n started looking for them in utube n it hasn’t stopped since then as all their music n contents makes me happy in a way n help relief my stress. I cant believe I cried and laughed just seeing them on utube n I even started voting for them whenever I came across some voting links which I have never done b4 in my entire 48 years🤦🏻♀️. The best thing is my 13 y.o fully support my interest in bts n we even talked abt the grammy n she expressed how disappointed she was when BTS didnt win as she thought they deserved it. Its really sweet of her even though we didnt share the same fandom😁. I just wish all the best for the 7 gentlemen who have touched so many pple with their music and may success will always be bestowed upon them.
You should watch also Karma is an Army. If you want get an inkling about how electric 1/7 of them are on stage, watch Jhope`s Just Dance, JK's Euphoria, Vs Singularity, Jin`s Epiphany , Suga's Seesaw and Jimin's Serendipity. Each performance shows off just 1 group member at a time just IMAGINE all seven of them on stage. One more thing, They and Big hit single handedly revitalized South Korea's economy.
If someone else answered this already - sorry! In regards to them being called copycats was over the most stupid, asinine shit those antis could think of: hair colors, using the same (very common) school boy concept, etc. All of that hate stemmed from the fact that there was a buzz surrounding BTS even though they were a no name group from a no name company. I wouldn't say that a lot of the crap we're continuing to hear about is just within the US but because we do live here that's what we see. I'm positive other ARMY from around the world have stories about how the boys are judged or talked about in the media. I recommend their 2018 Nobodies to Legends, even if you watch it on your own because those end of the year speeches are something else (bring tissues!).
Tianna, I'm glad you're enjoying your journey with BTS. I just wanted to let you know that I'm 65 and have been in the fandom for 6 yrs. It's really not hard to understand why we of the older generation are fans if you know that MJ, The Temptations, Diana Ross, Earth, Wind & Fire, etc were the popluar artists of our late teens & 20's. And Disco, R&B and Funk were the popular genres back then. My daughter introduced me to them because she knew my taste in music and that I used to love to dance. I look forward to seeing more of your journey!
Actually, they still get hate. But now they are in a position where it does not hurt them. No. They got a lot of hate in Korea long before. The reason for hate was because they were outsiders and from a poor company. The only successful pop groups were from the rich and powerful 3 companies called the Big3. They never let outsiders grow. They, and the fans of their groups, tried their best to crush them, and hinder their progress. Their influence with media made it difficult to come on shows. When they did, they were treated badly. So they stopped doing TV shows and created their own on VLive and Weverse. If you would like to check out there are 2 videos. 1. Mistreatment of BTS by acceptaed 2. Hardship of BTS by Xceleste who made this video you just watched. She is coming up with a new video soon with video clips to go with the stories of the bad treatment they got. Yes, the bts solos are all top class.
Roll Tide!! Love all of your reactions videos! “Fake Love” was when I became an army. There’s no group/artist out there that has a bigger start and so many dang contents and good songs as them. You’ll see. Roll Tide and Army On...
They have gotten hate from the very beginning. It started with Korea and the more international they became, the more haters. ARMY has been there since day one. I remember when I started watching their performances, the very first ones, ARMY was there chanting and singing along to their songs. They literally were encouraged and inspired by ARMY. I'm proud to call myself ARMY. Welcome Baby ARMY. Borahae 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
love your reaction and if I cry again like every time I see that video they deserve all the good things in this life, thank you for taking an interest in them 💜 welcome to the fandom 😊 you have to react to the MAMA and MMA awards 2019 AND 2020 their presentations are from another planet
according to IFPI, BTS are the best selling selling artists in the WORLD. both their albums released in 2020 made the best selling albums list with map of the soul 7 at no. 1 and BE at no. 4 even though BE was released at the end of November. the western industry likes to downplay their impact and achievement by gatekeeping especially with radio play and award shows. something about that is is deeply xenophobic. but the fact is that numbers speak for themselves and no one can deny that BTS one of the biggest acts in the world right now. grammys refuse to acknowledge that and the joke's on them
You mentioned cougars? I don’t see them like that but I’m 71 and their music has gotten me through a lot I’ve been a fan since 2017..Also, don’t forget to get the ARMY membership though the Weverse Shop. You can also get the membership card and any merchandise you might want. Welcome to ARMY!!
47 yr old Army. I got my 22 yr old daughter addicted last year. I told her I bought concert tickets and she was going and she better be prepared 😂 She will be well prepared by the time the concert Funaki gets rescheduled....
29. I adore them. Just to be clear, they attended the grammies as presenters the first time. This time they were nominees but sadly did not win. Haven't gotten a Grammy yet. It will come tho.
Girl I'm so new to kpop myself and I'm shocked as so much I have seen them go through and wait till you get to their sasaeng fans ..I hope that spelling was correct but be ready when you get there to have your jaw hit the floor
yes, that is John Cena .. he is a true ARMY.. he loves them.. "it looked like Jon Cena"😂 actually it was. he is a huge army and talks about them a lot I got to know bts through my students and the rest is history...they are realy life changing
Welcome to the rabbit hole Baby ARMY!! there’s a saying ARMY shares that goes: *Once you jimIN you cant jimOUT* (making reference to one of the member’s name Jimin lol) Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit of the beginnings of our boys!! Yes, as ARMYs, we always deal with all kind of hate towards BTS and ARMY as well, but together we’re stronger than anyone!! And yes, thats John Cena, he’s ARMY, J-hope biased, and also wants to work as their bodyguard 😂
Yes they are good looking, but please don't assume that's the only reason why older ARMY are fans. Their message and music has touched and changed many of our lives so maybe rethink generalizing us as "cougars" only interested in "BTass". I don't think that was your intention, but it did come off like that. Really enjoy your videos and hope you don't take this as an attack. Always happy to meet new ARMY. 💜
Did you really say BTasS? I don't know if I misheard you but that was funny. I'm a 39 year old ARMY, and though these guys are attractive up and down the line, my love for them is based on their message, and how down to earth they are. They deserve all the accolades and recognition for making meaningful music that they stay true to.
lmfao ngl I'm sitting here eating my noodles, crying when hearing the clip where ARMY is singing and exclaiming, "I'M THE ONE I SHOULD LOVE IN THIS WORLD." I've watched so many of these BTS videos because of all the times I've watched people react to it lol, and idk why I just get really emotional haha. I used to be the kid that make fun of people who cry over these things, now look at me LOL
I am so happy to have your weird self as an ARMY even if you're after my man 🤣 welcome to the ARMY💜 Next you gotta check out the Crashcourse to a Worldwide Sensation video! And then of course some of Suga's solo stuff. Check out Agust D by Agust D and Daechwita to start. Oh also, I peeped that when you were watching the Who Are The 7 Members video, you seemed to vibe to The Last which is off his first solo mixtape. It's a lot sadder and darker but really gives some insight into what hes been through.
American people plss stop asian hate😭🙏

Hello,I appreciate you so much💜

@@ceci8556 Oh, I had the best music but I bet I'm WAY older than you are! 🤣
I'm possible - Is it good now, boy?"
4) There is a stigma surrounding both kpop and boy bands (of which BTS is of course both) that they aren't 'real' artists and that their music is just for silly teenage girls.
Well done💜
Well spoken. Thank you
Thank you
Great comment! Thanks for taking the time to type all of this out for her so she could better understand why they had/have so many haters. 💜 they deserve nothing but love
wow great summary u said that so well
“He looks like John Cena to me”
Girl.. HE IS JOHN CENA 😂😂
He’s an army! ☺️
I am 43 and my mum 62, we are both hard-core ARMY! PROUD OF IT!!! 😍💜
The things these boys went through to get to where the are and still staying humble is what drew me to them.
Wow I really appreciate you 💜
Awww, I'm a 33 year old Army (2015) and my daughter is a 13 year old Army(2018), it took her 3 years to get into Bts. My niece was Army since 2014, she is 17, she got me into Bts. We have streaming parties, karaoke, and we watch Run together, my family thinks were crazy, especially me.
Can totally relate!
My mum (62) is Yoongi bias
I am (43) Tae bias
We are definitely not cougars.
This comment 100% I feel the same especially about modern music. (I'm 54)
How are you doing now? All the best to you, my friend. 💜
Tianna: "ion know what it is, he just look like John Cena to me"
**while circling a mouse over John Cena's face**
I almost died laughing. Can't wait for you to get into their dance practices, solo songs and live performances.💜💜
😂😂😂
snorts me too me too
I spit my water out
I chocked on my orange juice when she did that 😂😂😭
Same 🤣🤣🤣
10:18
Yeah it's john cena,
John cena it's an army 💜
Edit: and his bias is J-hope
Edit 2: also rm
His bias is RM AND JHOPE
Rm too
Lizzo recently said that her bias is Tae and Jimin (one is biased and one is biased wrecker) (I think, dont come at me😀)
When you say you're mad about the hate they received, please keep in mind that that hate is *still* happening.
You are cool ma'am 🤗💜
38-year-old ARMY here, and you are exactly right. 💜
Welcome... lol I am 59 and I wish I had this positivity in music in my younger years..music has always been important in my life and if I had these messages that these 7 humans are putting out there in the world...what a better world it would have been now... better late than never. I am so proud to be army... I wish nothing but the best in life for these good and humble men. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🇨🇦
That's cool ma'am 🤗💜
It’s now something we bond over together 😊
ceztlavie
Yes, same for us! Great to see other mother-daughter teams that can bond over them. Just love that they have a great message, are kind and are so much fun to watch. Especially this year, something positive to focus on🥰
I forgot how fine Yoongi was back then. He's always been fine, I was just blinded by Jimin's stunning beauty.
He was fine then and he is fine now lol. He and Jin are aging like wine.
@@mistym1752 I know, I've been bias-wrecked 3 times by these boys. I love them and their music so much.
I'm actually an older ARMY myself... I'm 32! I was 28 when I found them. Lol when I went to their concert in LA it was interesting to see the different kind of people there. Age, race.. it was really cool.💜💜💜
You are so cool 🤗💜
im not 20 years old and i love BTS because of their talent, their being genuine, their love for ARMYs.
Girl he's john cena 😂 love your reaction tho can't wait for u to see suga's solo stuff 💜
Sou brasileira, tenho 47 anos, sou ARMY e mãe de ARMY rsrrs, amo esses meninos!
I'm enjoying your reactions to BTS 💜💜 would love to see you react to their funny moments
Yessssss!!! I can't wait until she sees the goofballs in action. 😂
Same!!! I feel like that helped us fall deeper into the hole!
New sub. here from Canada. Love your reactions...btw I am a 63 year old male who is a big fan of bts...I grew up listening to the biggest and best groups like the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin etc. and I'll btw is the best I have seen in all my years.
I'm portuguese, I'm 51 years old and I just love them!!! And by the way it is John Cena 💜
wow🥰✊
Borahae to you my ARMY family. Im 57 and have been a proud ARMY grandma for years. Welcome!
Maybe my little word will make you happy you are cool adorable and I appreciate you 🤗💜
If someone else answered this already - sorry!
1. Mistreatment of BTS by acceptaed
2. Hardship of BTS by Xceleste who made this video you just watched. She is coming up with a new video soon with video clips to go with the stories of the bad treatment they got.
Yes, the bts solos are all top class.
that was john cena lmao he is a wrestler and a movie star ahahaha
You can see in the comments that not only teen girls like BTS. There are army veterans, mothers, nurses, doctor, etc who love BTS and their message 💜
love your reaction and if I cry again like every time I see that video they deserve all the good things in this life, thank you for taking an interest in them 💜 welcome to the fandom 😊 you have to react to the MAMA and MMA awards 2019 AND 2020 their presentations are from another planet
according to IFPI, BTS are the best selling selling artists in the WORLD. both their albums released in 2020 made the best selling albums list with map of the soul 7 at no.
Be prepared to be wrecked by each one of them as you dive deeper into the rabbit hole. You nice, keep going 💜
Haha Girl its john cena . He's an army and Jhope is his bias
RM Jhope biased
You see that already! (It's not just how they make us feel, it's how we make them feel)
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
that is john Cena lmao 10:20
BTS is just as whipped and in love with ARMYs just as much as we are to them lmao welcome to the fam!
10:15 "that looks like john cena to me"
girl.... that is he
29. I adore them. Just to be clear, they attended the grammies as presenters the first time. This time they were nominees but sadly did not win. Haven't gotten a Grammy yet. It will come tho.
44 yo ARMY here! Shout out to all my fellow ARMYS! I always feel like a proud Mom whenever I see them succeed. 💜💜
They didn't do it on their own, they did it with us(your ARMY💜) and BH. We are in this together💜
Girl I'm so new to kpop myself and I'm shocked as so much I have seen them go through and wait till you get to their sasaeng fans
..I hope that spelling was correct but be ready when you get there to have your jaw hit the floor
I'm a 65 year old grandma. I love their energy, music, lyrics, mv's mostly I love how humble they are. I'm so proud of them. #army
Lol that was John Cena!! 🤣🤣🤣
yes, that is John Cena .. he is a true ARMY.. he loves them.. ARMY can't wait for when they can meet in person
yes, that is Anderson Cooper on air said they looked nice but talked bad about them behind the scene
about most of the hate and accusations were from EXO-L
you should watch xceleste's BTS's hardship.. she is working on a new up to date hardship right now
I'm 55 and been ARMY since 2016.. they and their music stole my heart.. love them more each day.. they are 7 amazing human being.. till this day It's truly perplex me how anyone can hate them.. they are truly beautiful souls.. welcome down the Bangtan rabbit hole..
10:20 he is John Cena dear😂😂😂lol
Tianna Welcome in Army world !!
that was john cena lmfaooo hes the biggest jhope fanboy lmao
62 with a mentality of a 24 year old (it's NOT my fault I got old) but John Cena is a HUGE BTS ARMY! Yes that is FACT!
I just love you!~ Wellcome home a new army :)
Yes, singlehandedly them.. now their company buys Ithaca holdings.. where bieber, grande and demi lovato is works
10:22 he IS John Sena
Please check out Xceleste introduction to bts and The Asian Theory: The most beautiful life goes on: The Story of BTS. Know the boys journey from beginning to present. Thanks again for appreciating the boys. I like your reactions.Looking to see more of your reactions.
"it looked like Jon Cena"😂 actually it was. he is a huge army and talks about them a lot
I got to know bts through my students and the rest is history...they are realy life changing
Omg I 💜 You!
Thanks for your amazing reactions You are sweet and cute with the guys 🙏👌
they were even accused of plagiarising their hair colours to poses in photos like wot?! They were targeted all the time for almost no reason.
"Looks like John cena" haha he is John Cena🤣🤣
Welcome to the rabbit hole Baby ARMY!! there’s a saying ARMY shares that goes: *Once you jimIN you cant jimOUT* (making reference to one of the member’s name Jimin lol)
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit of the beginnings of our boys!!
Omygod thank u for reacting this!!! 😍😍😍
React to “BTS Serendipity official trailer” it’s jimin solo song
i love your energy
"Ha Ha! Cougars!" I CAN'T-💀
Its BTS journey promise u gonna lov3 it 😉😊🥰🥰🥰🥰
10:19 I can’t 😂 that IS *John Cena* he’s a pretty big fan of bts
They don't look like girls. They're just prettier than girls
lmfao ngl I'm sitting here eating my noodles, crying when hearing the clip where ARMY is singing and exclaiming, "I'M THE ONE I SHOULD LOVE IN THIS WORLD." I've watched so many of these BTS videos because of all the times I've watched people react to it lol, and idk why I just get really emotional haha. I used to be the kid that make fun of people who cry over these things, now look at me LOL
Yes that really is John Cena. An avid BTS fan.
that is john cena!!!!! 😂😂😂

I am so happy to have your weird self as an ARMY even if you're after my man 🤣 welcome to the ARMY💜
Next you gotta check out the Crashcourse to a Worldwide Sensation video!
