Unfortunately souls games didnt get the recognition they deserve and reach the mainstream public until dark souls 3. Elden ring on the other hand was a huge hit for FromSoft so hopefully now characters from the old games get some love too
I only pre ordered this guy because it's Elden Ring but after having him in person i'm so glad I did. The sculpt is amazing, I love the way they hid his joints with different pieces of armor
Great review! This will be my first S.H Figuarts figure, I just ordered him today from Amazon. I tend to avoid imports because the floppy/awkward joints but this one seems very sturdy and more of a “traditional” action figure so I am very excited to get this!
If I wanted to start a shelf with nice figures from media I enjoy like Elden ring where would I find the figures, Not toys but like high quality statues or something like that
Where was this type of stuff when I was a kid playing the original Dark Souls. I would have killed for an Artorias action figure.

Most Japanese figures are far better and use higher quality of plastic compared to US figures.

would you think it is better if the cape is actual fabric? because I have a figma that has actual fabric and it is good. from 300 Leonidas.
Personally I don't really think it hinders the articulation THAT badly, but it would obviously work well for the cape and it wouldn't hurt the figure!
