The Fusion SE is perfect in that. Probably could use a couple more teeth on the pinion. I know it’s a bigger body but I’d love to see how it looks on some class 1 tires and wheels. Maybe the Proline KM3s?
I gotta say that bodyshell is till growing on me, apart from that it looks like an awesome truck. That Fusion though, i gotta have me one of those soon. 👍

I put the fusion 1800se in my gen7 with portals and under some loads it'll set and chatter and not sure if it's geared too high or my settings r off somewhere I haven't had the fusion pro or the OG 1800 fusion do that I'm wondering if it set it up wrong

I want to buy my first crawler and I want it to be a redcat gen8 (it's just that I have some doubts) I have seen videos where they put Brushless motors on the Scout 8, my doubt is that they are not designed for high-turn motors? a brushless motor can damage my gears and differentials (transmission) greetings to you  😊
@R/C Daily 5mm wider per side. The lockers are 5mm (2.5mm per side) shorter than original gen8 v1. Gen8 v2, axe, & 9 use the same 'diff cases'. Hope that helps.
Absolutely love my 1200kv in my Capra with an 11t and even 2s. No better system have the 1800kv and the 1200kv pro and I think I prefer the 1200kv’s. IMO I cannot get enough of the slow crawl. Those trucks are beautiful and hats off to Them on those universals and the steer servo.
You read my mind when you 1st showed this truck I said it was a perfect candidate for the new fusion SE.

Did you swap out the trans servo? I heard they are weak

Video idea, pull the trans out of the 9 and put it in a 8 and see how it does. Redcat has confirmed it will work in the gen 8
