THIS is how a "Terrorized" area should be. Increased density, and random enemies that dont normally spawn in the area would be awesome
It would. It would also be way to difficult for a lot of players though. This was the hardest playthrough I've ever done and I only made it to nightmare on one of the best builds in the game
And also bring back the zone's original music. Or make new ones. I just can't stand the TZ track anymore.
I haven't played without spotify in years. I wouldn't even recognize the terror zone music haha
Could be limiters from like a1-3 except (Durance of Hate) that don't allow 2x enemies, and only certain mobs from other acts to randomly spawn, so it'lll still have random mobs but not as wild, and not double the enemies, but once you hit a4-5 then all bets are off and anything is possible. that way people can gear up from 1-3 and also it makes tz's in 1-3 more appealing outside of the obvious ones, while still furthering the end game without even doing too much. @@thenuclearrabbit

Not sure why you crash, but I've played through on 10x. It's absolutely absurd because it's just inconvenient. You're always overleveled and stuff is just kind of in your way rather than being useful.
Also to anyone who thinks it just spawns 10x as many enemies, that's not how it works. The game is built of tiles and every tile has a chance of spawning a monster, when you change this setting it changes the likelihood of all the tiles to spawn SOMETHING from it's eligible pool. I've noticed some places are still dummy empty because those tiles literally never spawn anything to begin with. You want to see insanity? Do like 4x as go to Arcane Sanctuary, it's like not only does it think the tiles are TINY thus spawning an obscene amount of monsters; but it also tends to drop a ridiculous number of runes from them too. It's insanely fun to try the challenge with big density, but I'd implore anyone who thinks that's going to make it "hard" to use this Randomizer to increase monster's health/damage instead.
Probably cause I was streaming it. I found this playthrough very challenging, but I'm gonna try giving them a bunch more damage and health sometime for sure

Could be. I'm guessing there are a couple of builds that would do well into this
@@thenuclearrabbit I recommend fohdin based on your game play as:
1. Only for paladin build.
2. U need to hit blessed hammer in close range compare with foh. Will be more safe with a tank act 2/5 merc as tank while u hit foh from behind.
3. I also notice foh cannot kill non-demon/undead monster
Foh would probably do well. I just didn't realize when I started how insane things would get. Having done an attempt I would definitely do soms things differently

I will at some point for sure. I honestly think I could get through Nightmare. I'm terrified for hell though. I do want to try it with other classes and builds as well
this should be ingame. Let us open some "chaos portal" or whatever, which gives you those mad random encounters. PVM in D2 becomes such an utterly boring snoozefest once you have your best on slot gear.
Oh that would be an amazing way to implement it for sure. I would love having something fun to do after the main game cause the gap between baal hell and ubers is way too big
You playing paladin on hardcore... and you don't use holy shield... very smart. Do you know how defence vs. npc attack rating works? Also, in hardcore make sure to utilise the run/walk toggle

Just follow the manual. It's really easy it didn't even take me 10 monutes to set up and a couple of my friends all managed to do it very easily as well

You can put that in the settings if you want. I just did double enemies which implies double drops as well
Is this doable on other classes other than the paladin? Seems like hammers is the only real way to do this.
If you’re patient enough, it’s doable with every class!
I think a lightning fury zon or trapsin would do very well into this. People are talking about fohdin in the comments as well but I'm not so sure about that one cause he can't damage a bunch of stuff

yeah no NO YOU DO NOT HAVE GLOOMS in act 1 you messed up the config it in not JUST 2X it is 2X random spawns.

It's literally the game but twice as many enemies.
