@@acharich OMG..THANK YOU! It bothers me when black people say that He was brought by white people. There were diverse religions and beliefs before slavery, christianity being one. However, it's true that the image has been whitewashed, as most of pre-slavery black history

@@acharich You are right. I am Ethiopian and Muslim. Jesus was known to Ethiopians long before the western world knew about him. Our Orhtodox Christian brothers paint him as black and afro. Islam was known to Ethiopians before the majority of Arabs even heard about Islam. Three Wise Men, who knew the birth of Jesus even before the people of Israel heard it, were Ethiopians. The first person who held Prophet Muhammed when he was born and who breast fed him was an Ethiopian black woman. Her name was Barakah. He called her his mother.

@Griffiith I disagree with the idea that belief in Jesus is belief in a white man. Our ancestors were forced to submit to the image of Jesus and the white branding of Jesus during slavery, but nothing in the Bible says that Jesus is white or that Jesus is the Creator. People and places of the Bible, when understood in Hebrew meaning are very different than the European concept of the world because they were ignorant for centuries of the world beyond their own experiences. They were pagans before the Roman empire spread it's brand of Christianity which was a form state religion and a creation of doctrine.

My pride shot through the roof when Malcolm mentioned the Mau Mau Uprising. My grandfather fought like hell against the British. He had a scar from a bullet that shot straight through his leg to prove it. My grandmother and aunt were in a prison camp during the conflict. My relatives are my heroes, and their legacy is one I am grateful for every day.

That explains why your on a video; commenting on the history of black people!
You are fearful and your fear is causing you to miss the point.
We are rediscovering our history and you are intimidated by it!
But why? You know yours why is it intimidating that we know ours?
My love for my blackness is not a threat to your whiteness.
I have no issue or ill toward you.
Respect our right to educate ourselves and if you are truly for equality, celebrate our history as we have yours.
