What are optimization implementations of hiding the tail. I assume it's still counts toward polygons and bone count. On the same note would it be better to attach new tail in blender?
Can I get help whenever I try to change the body's it wont let me drag the edited one to replace the old one it shows a crossed out sign when i hover over body with the new body.
What if it's a tail that comes from an asset pack standalone with an armature and tailroot, but no body? EDIT: Nvm, I found out. You can take the tailroot and put it in hips and it'll work the same way, then follow the same process the rest of the way.
Is there anyway you could one day make a tutorial about adding different legs or arms? It's just, there's no tutorials on that sadly. Anyway, amazing work as usual!!
Why do you have blender in the thumbnail if you're doing your edit in unity. I was trying to learn how to attach my ears in blender as merging the armatures is not working properly
@@20nik thank you, I totally scrapped and restarted the project due to some errors created by me and now its almost done! This video has been very helpful. Now I just need to re-create the bones in the old tail since something broke in the process of splicing the tail off the victim avatar.
no? just make sure you owh both models (IF your taking about how ur NOT suppose to make hybrids get over that. If i own a model i can do what i want with it
@@impliqued1910 literally all ToS for avis say "Do not reuse any assets without purchasing them from their original creator." kit-bashing breaks TOS by definition.
@@20nik not true. you have to buy the assets from the creator who made them. the avi make who put it together has a commercial license to use those assets. you do not own a personal or commercial license to anything other than the avi you bought in whole, not in part.

No- it's actually quite simple to do so in unity, However. If u want a smoother detailed base model then you can use unity to achieve that
