My old man told me a story years back when he was alive, that he was driving from athea co limerick to moyvane co kerry, and he saw a man walking on the rode and it was pecker so he collected him and they ended up in kearnys bar in moyvane drinking pints and playing music good times
Ireland lost a piece of living history and a bridge to a part of Irish culture that is sadly being lost. I am honored to have known Pecker Dunne and spent some time with him in Ennis in the 70's. May he rest in peace.
