I appreciate this take since I struggle reconciling my scientific training with spirituality. I like tarot, the symbolism, the messages. I don't believe paper cards with drawings on them are magical in any way, but a practice seems to cultivate a directional mindfulness that I find very satisfying to that need for spirituallism.

It's all 'materialistic' and the concerns of how to use this energy to survive with great status, how to make a living for yourself while making everything look 'shiny'',in hope to receive recognition from people, too. You said, you're a Capricorn yourself and that is actually funny, because this too is a trait of 'Cappy' ... kinda like when climbing up the mountain keeping score of how much of the way you already have left behind and how much more there is in front of you to get to the peak.
