This is the only band in many years I can close my eyes and feel some tears of joy or sadness coming forth. They are almost a religious experience to listen to. They are the anatomy of melancholy mixed with hope and joy. Considering I am an atheist that says something.
@TheMagneticZeros hi is there any chance of reforming? You guys and that music are missed so much! maybe one day i'l be less depressed, able to attend a show and catch yous performing live sometime ❤Best Wishes for 2023!!🍻
I had the privilege to make a road trip out to the Midwest this summer and this Album has been the best soundtrack to my adventure! I am currently in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and I have nothing love and gratitude to this life.
2,063 miles away from home, but I am in love with life, god, and this beautiful journey that I am having. Thanks Alex for your dancing feet and Jade you have the best smile in this world. Namaste to all
Just saw them at Bonnaroo on Sunday & it was almost like a spiritual experience. They have this old evangical, trippy feel to them.. I couldnt help but feel like I was part of this huge congregation of love & they were preaching to us all. I got lost in it. Will never forget that feeling. Thank you.
Edward Sharpe is a God amongst boys. Every song he puts out is pure gold. Reason number one thousand why I listen to non-mainstream music. Keep up the good vibes and great music
Alex Ebert and the gang of Zeros has been moving my soul since i first heard them on NPR one night coming home from work years ago. I'll be seeing them live for the second time Friday, and i cannot WAIT for the new album. A TRUE group of musicians, among many, many pretenders.
Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes are one of the few bands who have never disappointed me, and them and the Black Keys are probably the only 2 bands who nobody doesn't like.
on a deeper level Alex lets it bleed. Bluesy old skool anthem. NICE! Empowering lyrics I interpret to mean he's waking from a soul death to understand real meaning of life: LOVe is to give of yourself. What a message! They keep it really real and thats so appreciated!
I can def see some joe cocker influence in there. They have absolutely captured the sounds of late sixties recording. As a matter of fact the first time I heard them I thought its was and older song. I've been playing and recording for 15 years and this shows me what the right band can do. beautiful!!
this song is so deep and the rhythm and tone of his voice and how distinct and precious and just imperfect yet so perfect it is just moves me.. i am so in love with edward and the zeros it's crazy.. its so beautiful ive been hooked for so long now i know ill never get rid of them not that i would even want too
I just don't have words for what these dudes do to me internally. Name's right...MAGNETIC & MAGNIFICENT! The music movie, Big Easy Express was where i first heard of them and they instantly became a big favorite of mine. I love passion in music and they drip with it. (y)
I hadnt heard this one in awhile and then I read an article which reminded me of the song! So I had to come listen again. SO GLAD. wow I forgot the way it goes straight to my solar plexus and opens me wide so I feel like crying some happy tears. So moving. Such gratitude for your talent!!
Ah nuances. yes. and symbolism. The simple short of it is this: He finally understands we are here to GIVE. Thats its not about US but others. That we are all learning to transcend our egos/the lie that its all about me/me/me.
sometimes while listening to Edward Sharpe & the magnetic zeros, I get the feeling that I'm actually listening to the 'Hair' musical soundtrack, so hippie ✌

This is the most beautiful, haunting song. It wrecks me

Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros are my spirit animals. straight up.
So many old school elements incorporated into this song, Beatles, Elvis, Van Morrison... Great lyrics, a message of selflessness an deliverance,

I really have no words to describe this. It just makes me feel so happy just listening to this song. Thank you Edward Sharpes
Before the song was even half way through I feel in love with his voice, sure gets you where it hurts and makes you feel fantastic.
That's what I thought about Better Days, but it barely has more views than this. People do not know what music is anymore.
this is heartbreakingly beautiful
Man...This album will be amazing. CANNOT wait!
Great song...tons of meaning

Gives me the chills each time I listen
Beautiful and haunting
The lyrics and just the overall composition of the songs never fails to amaze me. This is an absolutely beautiful song.
This song brings tears.
I'm speechless! Positively, mind-blowingly great!

Reminds me of his song Glimpses that was done on his solo album. Both great tunes
This song is amazing.

Great song! I can hear a mix of Hallelujah and Who's Loving You
Om Nashi Me will forever be their greatest song. But this is damn close.
No drugs required my friend :)

This song is literally perfect.
THE COLORS ARE MOOOOOOVING. geez im toasted.
I hear "tear down the wall" a bit. I also here 60s pop like van morrison in the verses. It's brilliant.
Sounds like a 60's classic! Is that good.
Ah nuances. yes. and symbolism. The simple short of it is this: He finally understands we are here to GIVE. Thats its not about US but others. That we are all learning to transcend our egos/the lie that its all about me/me/me.
Time machine wanted please...I want to listen to you when I run..xxx
Still gives me goosies when I hear this. Love it

Eu só me pergunto uma coisa!

Soul wash
Amazing, so much.
While listening to this song it reminds me of Aracde Fire's rendition of "Body is a cage".
