Wow, this is super bright for the a small portable light, and rbg too! I just purchased the similarly priced Neewer ms60c, but P100 seems to be significantly brighter. Wish I would have seen this video sooner. The P100 doesn't appear to be available on the UK, which is probably why I missed it. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, the hot spot does help to highlight a face or some other limited area. Although I prefer more of an even lighting because I do more landscape photography. Nice video as usual.
There aren’t many videos on this light, let alone reviews. Thanks so much for going into such detail! Most likely getting this, and will return back here when I do to go through your Amazon link! Subbed!
Thanks a lot!!! Please feel free to browse the channel. The absolute latest lights I get to review first! Brands like Godox, GVM, Genaray, Weeylite and Sutefoto. Thanks a million for subbing as well 🙏
Ordered mine today. I did go with different batteries but oh well. I shoot outside under an awning and it gets dark under there and I'm tired of having to mess with the ISO because even on auto ISO, it doesn't always keep up with the the sun on cloudy days getting lighter and darker. So I'm hoping with this, I can have a bit of stability.

This is amazing! Great review as always man! I am pretty hyped about this light right now, i only want to check out if i can attach a vmount battery with adapters
This light you can plug a V mount where the DC power supply jack is. Takes up to 24V. If you use a 26V Vmount you’ll fry the board. Standard 14.8 V mount ONLY. Be careful and you’re good to go!
I tested it with the P80. I don’t see why you couldn’t with this. It will definitely work. But why would you want to bulk up this light? I would just use the NPF if I were you. keep it nice, light and compact. The two Sony NPF970 is a 98 watt-hour load. Plenty. Lasts 1 hour at full power.
I’m not familiar with the cb60, but the Sutefoto, I’m sure you’ll be happy with it for a 100 watt light. The video, if you watched it in full, it should provide you with all the info you’d want to know about this light. And if you’re not happy with it, no worries. Amazon returns are hassle free. Simply return.
As long as you don’t plan to use the M600D with these by being 6 times the power, these little lights are great. The color is nice and the fan is decently quiet. These are better made than the 80 watt version of these lights. No need to have a hanging adapter for batteries for example.
When I see your face I instantly had a breath of relief as I'll have all the details packed in one video. Wonderful review as always! But any details on the lux/1m measurements? Especially compared to Amaran COB 60x that I already own.
Thank you very much for the kind words and for your being a long time viewer. Being a full time filmmaker since 1991, and utilizing these products in real world environments, I will always try my best to review and showcase things to help out the film / production community. For this product, they don’t really specify lumen precisely and I don’t have a way of measuring. That’s the only thing I can’t do, unless I get a Sekonic C-800 color spectrometer, which I don’t really need…
@Art Video Productions Yeah, man, I know you're a true pro despite the sub-count that doesn't do you justice. Straight to the matter, no BS B-Roll, extensive and thorough reviews! Keep doing what you're doing. And for those lights, this one and the Bi one, I think I might get the RGBW because it'll be critical to mimic my brand's pale purple which is 274degree at around 27% saturation. With an optical snoot you can make wonders with this light! Too good to skip and I trust your opinions. But is it accurate at 5600K? Also I use those little ones for outdoors wildlife videography, like ultra-macro videos at 4K@120fps (1/250s, f/8) with 49mm extension tubes which is a light hell even in an overcast day it looks dark and you need to supplement it with light like the Amaran COB 60x from like 3-4" away with its hyper reflector + diffuser sock and still crank the ISO to around 2000-3200 which the Sony a7SIII can handle easily but pushing down ISO is always ideal. As for LUX output you can get many cheap ones from Amazon, you only need the Sekonic for color temperature/light quality checkup.👌
@@Bo_Hazem color accuracy at 5600 with this light is typically the same as a Godox, GVM, etc. I’m pretty satisfied with the colors of this light. But many lights out there will always cast a little green or magenta including Aputure. That’s ok in a sense and we have to deal with that. 🤷♂️ Now, if a light is way off the actual color to what should be daylight, such as a GVM SD150R RGB, their “5600K” is TOO warm to the unacceptable point that green magenta casts don’t even matter anymore. In that case, (which I did), I’ll let you guys know that the light is doing that. On the GVM SD150R at daylight color was disappointing.
@@ArtVideoProductions Really happy to know that! Thanks a lot for the amazing review, you're so far the only pro that made a review of this light on youtube. Warm regards.🙏
Glad I could help. If you could use my links, that would be great😊 they don’t cost you anything extra and helps the channel. Even using for makeup lighting, make sure to get a Softbox for diffusing the light making is very pretty on the face. Set the light color to 5600K for accuracy so your makeup artist can see the true daylight colors on skin especially that they usually do makeup near a window.
I can’t see myself breaking this light unless I drop it on purpose on concrete. The LED diodes should also last at least 30,000-50,000 hours like most LEDs.

No because it’s a 100 watt light. Each Sony battery, the biggest is only 48 watt-hour. Not enough current. Gotta have TWO.
ปีที่แล้ว
@@ArtVideoProductions but you are mistaking power delivery (the amount of power a battery can deliver at once), with power density (watt hour is how much energy can the battery store). The stored energy might be deployed/delivered at high wattage. Maybe it works, but at a reduced brightness level? If not, that's kinda bad, as those Sony batteries are inexpensive compared to V-mount battery
@ they won’t make the possibility of using the light using one battery at a reduced brightness, when someone forgets and cranks up to full then the light will shut off. You need two batteries for this light. It is what it is. Most lights I own will require two batteries as well.

Finally a nice compact light with many features in a nice form factor I could take to a wedding. Might consider a few of these
Yes, those are nice and fit everywhere.
I got this light last month and I promise you it’s a good buy for less money. It’s not so popular but it’s a great light
exactly what I was looking for , thank you for the informations effort and time to make this video , good luck
they look so versatile !! The npf mount on body is huge , I will get one for sure !

Great review. how do you think this compares to the Godox SZ150R you reviewed?
