On the radio being useless, me and my friends use it a lot! What we usually do is designate a command chair guy, who stays and guides everyone from the ship. The other two usually goes in with nothing either using the inverse or just running through to scout out the place, the last one has the flashlight, radio (sometimes has a shovel and a stun too)and follows the other two, and gathers them. Once they're all together they walk around gathering more stuff, aside from the stuff that was found in the initial scouting phase. With that we rarely have deaths, and managed to reach up to 34 days our longest.
eyes in the sky is such a sanity booster as well as super helpful in finding items, warning about bogies, and opening sealed doors and shutting down turrets. I don't know why people think walkies are useless when if you use them correctly they are extremely helpful!
@@TheDeluche i agree, however it completely depends upon the playstyle of the group of people you are playing with. Insym's group rarely has people willing to sit in the ship and control the cams so to them, it feels minimal or not good enough
The group I play with DOES use walkie-talkie, but it's usually one guy in ship, and one guy with group that has it. Ship can warn if there's monsters, or if there's loot, you see. For those who don't know though, there are monsters that spawn outside the ship, so the person in the ship is essentially playing '5 Nights at Freddy's'.
You can actually reorganize the objects in the ship to build a wall with only the small filing cabinet as a "jump over" cover. If done right it blocks the dogs completely, while your friends can jump over the cabinet to get in safety. Only bees are a problem there

I love lethal company but I don’t think it’s going to last much longer in this state. There isn’t that much content in the game and the gameplay loop is super simple once you know how entity spawning/weather mechanics work. There needs to either be a new game mode of some sort or a massive expansion of maps/entities cause the current cast will become boring soon.
the problem is that nobody will wait if the developer takes 10 years to update the game, this is for any game not just lethal company, yeah he is one person and he got the numbers (playerbase) but now he needs to do something before people get bored and don't come back.@@SurprizE98

@@erickmontes2149 I've been keeping one on the ship most times anyways. They come in handy every so often but not something I keep bringing in 24/7. Maybe on eclipse, rather be speedy at the start
They need a dedicated inventory slot for the flash/walkie talkie. It really sucks that if you're properly equipped everyone can only carry 2 items and if you're taking a shovel someone can only carry 1 item. It means your best bet is to just straight up not take a walkie talkie/flash/shovel or have only one person in the building carry one and guide over coms that way. But then that reduces efficiency at having everyone be able to loot in separate areas. The way I've been playing with friends lately to combat the inventory issue is to have a 2-man cell where one has flashlight, the other has walkie or a shovel. That way one guides the other bonks to protect them, if it's 3 of us then we usually roll without a shovel cause a walkie lets me guide them to loot quicker. Communication from the ship is so underrated, but it's hampered by the fact most people dont even try it because the walkie taking up space isnt worth it. 1 walkie could equal -100 credits, and that difference could be make or break for current or future quotas if you get bad map/spawn RNG.
I would be ok with upgraded inventory using suits... so keep inventory to 4 and some suits to either allow to carry more items or an extra heavy on the back or others to allow comms/light only slot
I don't really understand why the inventory is so restricted in the first place, because there's ALSO a very punishing weight system. I think Insym is correct that if restrictions make it less fun to interact with some aspects of the game, then there should be some way to get around them. Maybe a toolbelt that adds a slot specifically for utility items, and a backpack that either adds another slot or lessens the negative effects of overencumberence. Still a very fun game, and it's still in early access so I have hope for something at least, there'll always be mods if they don't do anything about it.
I've been watching the part one of this for the better part of last week, and I JUST finished it (took me a while because I've been busy at work and I can hardly watch more than half an hour before falling asleep after getting home). And then, right after finishing part one just now, I noticed that Insym uploaded this part just four hours ago. It's as if we planned it, dude!
It says, "if the answer to all of these is yes then proceed with self defense" Which means if it's aggressive and the need assistance, but they arent injured then you can't help.
This game is giving me so many ideas for Phasmo (and reminding me of some I already had) -A small chance for ghost events to appear to one or more players, but not to all. The player(s) to whom the event would appear would be random, but, for the Banshee, it would always appear exclusively for the target (edit: only when it's this type of ghost event, regular events would appear to everyone as normal) -The Shade could have a higher chance to make ghost events appear to only one player. -The Oni could be unable to do this. -The idea of the blind ghost (wouldn't mind if this got added to the Goryo or the Yurei): a ghost that can't see but has amazing hearing/detection range. Making noise/turning on electronics while out of line of sight would ALWAYS bring the ghost to your general location, regardless of distance, and making noise while in line of sight would make the ghost lock onto you and kill you if it catches you. However, if you're in line of sight with the ghost and stay completely silent, the ghost will NOT spot you. -The Coil-Head idea: a ghost that is super fast while you're not looking at it, but immovable while you're looking within a certain distance (the range of your flashlight, for example, once your flashlight can't reach it, it'd start zooming again). Easy to loop and terrifying on long hallways, it's kind of a nice twist to the Deogen, in a way, but I imagine this ghost being even faster. Again, also wouldn't mind if this got added to the Yurei or Goryo on top of their existing abilities, but also wouldn't mind if these were added as new ghosts. I just don't want the Goryo and the Yurei to keep being as boring as they currently are as of now. They basically ruin no evidence challeneges.
I do think the flashlight should take up a spot. I also think you should be able to use the flashlight with F or T without needing to switch to it. I ALSO think they should change the settings for solo play to allow an extra spot in your inventory. Possibly lower quotas too for solo play.
I disagree with the walkie talkie being useless. In the way he plays with all 4 people going in then yeah, but having a command center guy has literally made this game easier for me and my casual brothers. Being able to tell someone to turn around because you see a fast moving red dot (braken) has SAVED SO MANY RUNS. Telling someone where an item is or isn’t is also valuable. Turning off turrets. He made a comment that the fact that you have to choose between flashlight and walkie-talkie means that no one uses walkies and every uses flashlights. Titan: hold my beer
Hi! Can i ask what mods Insym uses?
The risk reward argument was a bit much for me 😅 i can see what they mean ngl.
I mean it's so dumb that people complain about risk reward when the reward they speak of is literally just RNG. Sure, you may still get good loot but you can still get bad loot because of bad RNG. Insym really made some good points.
