The ratchet is to prevent failed catches from slamming the pump forward.
And the barrel length and plunger volume would have been tuned to achieve the desired speed.
The loose barrel will still affect speed just like a Caliburn with.527 barrel.
I kinda hate it but you’ve convinced me I need to get one of these. Nerf says they don’t like modders but this is perfect for modding. Sort of

i hope them make more blasters that use this mag style and more variations of the mags look and capacity but keep them all cross compatible

Good to see the AR is easily removable. Is there any performance difference between having the AR in or without? It's a sealed breech blaster by design but the sealed barrel length is very short.
Additionally, is your half dart kit adaptable for a barrel meant for n1 darts? or do n1 darts not work well with long sealed barrels?
