As I focus on Him in this sacred space
The sunlight filters through the stained glass
Illuminating the cross, the saints, and the past
I am grateful for this moment of peace
As I pray, sing, and find love's release.

To update you on my cancer diagnosis and all the positive responses I've received, thank you. It has been 12 months since my diagnosis (I was given less than 6 months). My cancer is responding very well to the chemo. I will never be done with chemo, it is now a life long therapy and I can live with that. My cancer will never go into remission or be cured. Physically, emotionally, and spiritually I am doing very well. My faith is strong and God has been faithful and true. I could not do this without Him or the support, positive thoughts and prayers from people all over the world. Again, thank you and God bless you.

I have always felt a mixture of awe and warmth in a cathedral. Wandering around old European cathedrals is a source of great peace, joy and awe for me.
