First --- I don't have one of these but ----- Your mill looks like the picture in the ad for the mill . However look at the manual and you will see that the bottom of the mill is backwards. the triangular brace for the uprights go in the wrong direction. Maybe thats why it will not cut down to a 1" board like it should. The bottom wheel assembly should be longer on the back of the mill. Possibly right and left got put on the wrong sides. The manual is online if you didn't get it with the mill.

We did not even notice. It came already together and no manual. We are just in the dark trying to figure everything out. We knew it did not seem right not to be able to go lower. The Beauty of TH-cam. Thank you much!!
