In this video, I share an alternative way to add your zipper to your liner which will eliminate the seam on the inside of your lining.
You can do this with a sewing machine, with hand sewing and even with industrial strength glue. Whatever floats your boat!
I'm using this to line a pouch but the technique can be used for any crochet project that you want to add a zipper and liner to. 👍🏻
Like the sunflower square? You can find it here:

This is so clear and helpful. I've never added a zipper to anything, because I always assumed it would be really challenging!! I'm going to try this now!
Awesome, I’m so glad 💕
I can’t wait to try this method! And I love your cat lol that’s precious
Thank you! 😽❤️
Thank you very much! Straight to the point, super clear, super beginner friendly

I tried this with a sewing machine, and, as a beginner, it was a little tricky not to BREAK the machine but I really love the result! Ty!!
Wonderful!!! 😀👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️

So glad ❤️
This is awesome!👍 Thanks!😍
❓❓❓...
I sew a little bit and have wanted to make a pouch but my sewing machine is not accessible at the moment. I absolutely love the idea of being able to glue everything together. What kind of glue do you use? Can I use E6000 or B7000 glue? Both are flexible glues. Thanks again. 😊
Great!
Yes e6000 works very well ! I haven’t tried b7000 so i can’t say 💕
Did you glue the green lining to the crochet pouch as well?
If it’s one that I demonstrated how to glue, then yes. I’m not sure which one you’re asking about because I showed a couple of variations in this video and the previous one.
If I sewed the liner, then I sewed it to the pouch too. If I glued the liner, I glued to the pouch too.
So , really do what you like. Mix and match if it’s easier for you . 💕
Love this! What size zipper you used?
7 inch . All the specifics are in the 1st video . You can find the link to it at the end of this video and the description box 💕
Hello ma'am i am new to crocheting did you have to cut the ends of the zipper to attach it onto the lining of the pouch? Or is that not nessecary ? Thank you in advance for the response !
No- I didn’t need to because I found a premade zipper that fit 💕
What type of glue did you use?
It’s an industrial strength glue …you can find the link to the specific one I used in the companion video for this one. I believe it’s called Aleene’s fabric fusion. The original video will give you the specifics ❤️
How do you attach it to your crochet bag? Please help😢
You would use the same system that you see here. Just imagine that this pouch is s bag . I’m confused at what you aren’t understanding.
can you glue it to the pouch as well?
Absolutely- I share how to do that in the main video for this pouch . Check the link at the end of the video or in the description box. 👍🏻💕
I want to make the sunflower version of this. Do you have a pattern for this granny square?
Yes!

@@PlayHookywithMe my hero! Thank you 😊
How do you deal with the "tails" of the zipper. Even if I cut them off, Mine never lay right as I am sewing they are not meeting up or scrunching this way and that very difficult for me to sew. Any advice
Have you tried to cut little slits on the sides to help fold them down ? That is what helps me the most .
@@PlayHookywithMe hmmm. Must give that a try. Thanks!
How do you determine what size zipper you need ? Do you get a zipper that is the same length as your project? A zipper that is a little smaller ?
I bought the zipper and then designed the bag size around it . So the one you see in the video is a standard size that you can find most places . 7 inch.
Here is a link to the first video , you can find an Amazon link in the description box to basic zippers if you can’t find them. 💕

При раскрое внутренней части сумочки вы сделали ошибку: раскрой ткани производится с края ткани, а не с середины. Слишком много ткани при такой раскрое остаётся кусочками, которые выбрасываются.
Ok
I like what you do, but I can't do it because I don't understand your language. Greetings from Türkiye, could you please open the Turkish translation part of your videos? so that I can easily eat, thank you for what you do, love...
