Music possesses an unparalleled ability to transcend language and cultural barriers, weaving its magic into the very fabric of our existence. Its beauty lies in its diverse forms, from the soaring symphonies of classical masters to the raw, soulful expression of blues and jazz. Whether it's the rhythmic pulse of a tribal dance or the intricate melodies of a traditional folk song, music evokes profound emotions, stirs the soul, and connects us to something deeper than ourselves. It can transport us to other worlds, heal our wounds, and ignite our passions, reminding us of the power of human creativity and the enduring beauty of the human spirit.

Welcome to the Carpetman experience brother. You wont be disappointed. He is amazing artist with a great song catalog. Most of his songs have profound and interesting lyrics. Even his more lyrically simple songs have a unique feel to them.
I don't know what genre box you put him in since very few of his songs are the same. Some sound feel like soul, some like blues , and some even feel like reggae-lite. Whatever the genre is it is dope mixing modern with old in an amazing way.
@@saltyhero a fusion of soul jazz blues r&b ..
@@Hooddigital1027 for sure. The best.
I could find very little about Carpetman when I discovered him. What I found doesn't completely unveil the mystery and I am ok leaving things as such.
Carpetman is a Ukranian artist, but he is/was part of a music project comprised of many musicians identifying as Carpetman. The main project seems to be inactive before his debut.
The first seen Carpetman is a rapper and breakdancer part of the Kalush/ Kalush Orchestra. This video depicts his origin story towards the end:

The rapper/breakdancer Carpetman is a different artist.
The Carpetman you just watched is also part of a group/music project named килиммен which is Carpetman in Ukranian. You can see him in this video here but he also sings back up/chorus on some of the other songs on that channel:

Live version of the song you just heard.
This Carpetman is certainly layering tracks; you can see him sampling tracks and assembling the song for the main performance. He is assisted by DJ Storm with back up from Shade:

Allll the Ukrainian fans who follow him have assured that he's not burned at all. It's a fun costume with cultural references. So kinda like how there's other artists like the Blue Man Crew, Vessel, Slipknot, Deadmau5 (during his early career)... who add visual costume to their vibe.
Carpetman has his own wardrobe that he adds to too, i personally love this trenchcoat...Id totally wear it myself in my own kind of wardrobe, but based on pictures on Instagram...I think he gave it to another person that he toured with as appreciation, so we won't see it in anymore videos. But yeah, he's got swag.
He's definitely Ukrainian! He's just very good at singing in other languages. There's even a couple songs where he throws in a couple words of Spanish, which does kinda add to the LA vibe that you referenced lol.
Many of his songs have some deep spiritual type lyrics like this one.
Other songs are more about failings in romance.
They are all good shit though, you most definitely won't be disappointed if you do more reactions. I'll definitely join you as you do. He's 100% been inspired by R&B, Soul, Jazz, Blues, Funk, ect.... a couple songs have some very jazzy piano. There's Ukrainian flute in several songs as well though.... so he still includes the homeland into his music.
If you want to catch the vibe for how he sounds in his native language, here's his other channel that is all in Ukrainian.
