Nice video but there's a much easier way to fold fluted filter paper. Instead of opening up the folds to fold the rest of the folded portions, keep everything closed and fold over and over, then open up, and make 2 little folds where the 2 opposite square ends meet. You can find it from several sources on youtube, but since this was made in 2012, I'm sure you already have!!

you should use a beaker when boiling the product and water to increase surface area so that most of the impurity evaporates.
