On the subject of returns. I bought a table saw from Lidl about a year ago. It failed at the first attempt of cutting some wood. I took it back to the shop, with the receipt, and they asked if I wanted a replacement or money back. I had my money returned. No questions, just good service.
Great to hear buddy., this is why the comments are so good , it’s helps us all make good tool choices .. so thanks for sharing your experience big thanks 🙏 😃 cheers to.
I’d love to have the tool belt because I’m forever putting things down next to me and then I go to grab it again and it’s miraculously disappeared, so a belt with multiple pockets would be extremely handy and maybe I could get jobs done a bit quicker too 😂
I popped into Lidl last night. There was a few reduced bits, so got the heavy duty and the delicate secateurs for 2 GBP each. Also cable tidies and car activity box tidy (not sure what I will use that for). I did go for the shorts and insulated trousers. I debated on the gloves but I think it is antivibration gloves I need after seeing Roger's video's comments on sanders. For multitool, I am tempted by the battery driven pen screwdrivers. It is one of those Temu purchases I think. I still not have tried to return the water detector that lost the pin but I am a bit of a scaredy cat. 😹 Thanks for sharing as always.
Those dental tools are fantastic for removing o-rings in tight spaces and even carefully putting new o-rings back on. Those lifting clamps sounded like two chimps "enjoying themselves"!! LOL My local Lidl and Aldi never have the tools that you show, but I am moving soon (fingers crossed) so maybe the new area will have more. Great video as always, keep up the great work. Take care and stay safe, Joe
Hey Rob....as you were looking for the phone size thing I was thinking....."well the box it came in is sitting there" !!!😂 I have a similar pen already whci I keep in my electrical box as I find it useful when I set the sockets.....also have a set of those raising clamps.....only used them once though.....Thanks as always for the excellent and enthusiastic commentry.
Love watching your videos it saves me buying tools that maybe no good, the tool belt would be very useful for me as I lost one of my legs several years ago but I still manage to climb up a step ladder but it does get a bit tiring having to keep coming up and down because I don’t have the right tool
Hi Rob, as I have mentioned before that my She'd is only tiny that toolbelt would be great to put stuff in that rather than have my tools lying around while I'm trying to to work. Thanks for great videos. Stay safe 👍😎👍
About ten years or more ago i bought a table saw from Aldi Australia. I did a lot of work with it for a year or so. One very hot day i was blind ripping ie" wood larger than the cut depth " it was working hard and smoking abit before the motor burnt out (my fault). I didnt have the receipt so they told me to peel of the metal plate with the serial number etc and mail it to them. A week later a truck arrived with a new saw with more spare blades and stand. I kept the old one. Bloody good service and a bloody good saw
Can't get over the quality of the products Aldi and Lidl have.as someone who is starting my first shed they are brilliant and good prices congrats on the 10k .100k next
Too flimsy 😮 - main vertical flat rod would bend under a 'suibstantial load ' eg trying to lift a full oak sideboard. I woud simply use a piece ,or 2 , shortish planks ~ 20 x 100mm section to lever a washing m/c away from wall😊
Thanks Rob, great fun as always, congratulations on reaching 10k ! I got the spreader/lifter clamps too, as you say 100s of uses that you'll know when you see them, as long as you can still find them ! 😂
Well who doesn’t want a nice black and blue tool belt,no chance for me to get a good giveaway though as I live in France. keep your videos coming it’s keeping me updated on tools we all need
for the controlled raise and lower, you could do both at the same time but would need x2 pairs of those to do it. One set in the controlled raise set-up and the other pair in the controlled drop position. So you control raise using the 1st pair, do what's needed and then slot in the controlled descent pair, release the raise pair and the item will drop the small amount on the descent pair and you then do controlled descent. Congrats on the 10k subscribers.
Congrats on the 10k. Such an underrated channel. Just moved house and the wife is starting to get suspicious why I am go to both Lidl and Aldi each week. Can never have enough tools! Didn't see the tool belt, multitool or sprayer in my local.
Love the videos, and so does the wife cos she can can watch Emmerdale while I'm watching you.Re tool belt if I had it I could take all I need up the ladder and not have to come down, at 70 it can be a bit knackering. I'm in Liverpool and we don't get half the stuff you get.
congrats on all the subs - i found your channel all the way back when you were showing the engraver - not sure how many subs you had back then but it was a fair way off from 10k and for all your buys it must soon be time for a bigger shed :)
I picked up the last paint sprayer in my local Lidl just this afternoon, absolute bargain for £16. Happy to report I have no plans for eBay 👍, plus I got some free corn on the cob 🌽🌽. Re. the warranties at Lidl, I've only used them twice but both times have been faultless, fill out a form, explain the problem (with photos if required) and attach your receipt then wait for the replacement to be delivered. Congrats again on the 10k 👏.
Thanks Rob.. glad you managed to get the sprayer (£100 on eBay 😂? ) only joking. Yes that app is brilliant for the odd freebee 👌 great to hear on warranty 👍 appreciate your feedback mate , cheers Rob
That Workzone tool-belt looks wicked to have plus I can use it to keep my bags up 😂 Excellent reviews, keep up the great work buddy 👍👍 That made me laugh about reading the "Destructions" because that's what I say to my grandkids and they always give me a funny look when I ask them "Have you read the Destructions yet?" I must admit I do like Parkside tools because they're great quality for the price 👍;-)
congrats on the 10k your Lidl had a lot more tools than our local one and i was in at 8.30am thursday for the lifters apart from the fart noise they seem great will use to support gates etc when hanging. if you know it drops sharp lean into the load a bit to help it slide slower. nice to have the tools back in stores again
I've got the Workzone toolbelt and yes it does look like great value but I ran into the same problem I have with all the ones I've tried - too big for my scrawny 28 inch waist. I think I'll have to look at making my own super skinny version.
Another cracking video rob. Must say those lifter spreader thingys seem bit odd to me but you'r not wrong on the prices the other one it's mental 😳😳 I picked up the Aldi triangle cordless work light it's cracking need go lidal couple things from the video wanna see if it's there 🤷 Cheers 👍🏴🫡
I could do with having the tool belt, it would be a lovely, unique surprise Valentine's present for my wife. I bet that no other wife or girlfriend will get anything like it. I could see it being a really useful aid to help her with her housework with space for dusters, brushes, washing up gloves, polishes etc. And it even has a bottle opener to save her scrabbling about in the cutlery drawer when I need a beer.
Those lifting jacks could be ideal for lifting up a washing machine for you while you repair a pump from underneath as that's the only way on most washers to get access to the pump & screws.. but I'd rather trust something stronger to hold it off the ground lol ... I like my hands I don't fancy crushing 'em xD Great video as always mate! 👍
Hi why I should have the tool belt is I have been diagnosed with prostate cancer and can't do the DIY anymore due to chemo & Radiotherapy etc which leaves me fatigued. I thought it would be nice for my Grandson as he is learning some DIY from me .I love watching your show and have learnt a lot from them, Many thanks.
I missed getting one of those tool belts was gutted looks pretty good though. And have you seen what’s on next weeks Lidl leaflet a biscuit jointer for £25 or thereabouts soooo tempting. Btw the lifters I was looking at those and my first thoughts were either fencing or boarding out somewhere on your own. Keep up the good work bud 👍
Great video with equally as great items! I nearly bought one of those tool belts, it was reduced, I put it in my trolley, then realised it was damaged... it was the last one! Typical.
This might be a bad reason for wanting a tool belt but I was given a tool belt a while back and can't get my hands in it 😬 that looks like it might be big enough 😂, good video 👍
Love videos, like other people said no everything is in my local Lidl and Aldi, my dad is always in there looking for stuff for me. Severely visually paired the tool belt would be handy as hopefully get never lose tools as that’s one of the problems you put it all down and you can’t find my daughter did a short documentary and it’s on TH-cam the Blind bodger 0:28 it keep up the lovely videos
Hi Rob, Great Parkside tool review, there is a good video yesterday on you tube by Phill Wyatt projects on the Parkside lifting clamps. I did buy a box of Parkside heat shrink to put on soldered wires from Lidl they were £3.99, Bargain and well done over 10000 subscribers good going mate, it's this sort of thing that brings me back to your channel, keep it up........... As always a great video, catch you soon take care👍
Having the tool belt would be very handy for when I strip off the old felt on my shed and replace the felt with EPDM rubber sheeting, the amount of nails that you have to use to fit the flashing on with is staggering plus hammer drill pry bar and what ever else you need to do the job.
I tried to get the multi tool, out of stock at 5 local stores! But I did pick up the rollers, pretty decent! Also my local Aldi had a 100 piece screwdriver set and caddy for 9.99 down from 15!
just started watching and sub im decorating my hallway at the moment im and need all my bits in one place on my hips i got one from a bootsale really good old fashion one but it was built for a big man tryed to adjust it and keeps falling off
Hey Rob..... I guess I should have it as I cant afford trousers so have to do all my work in my underpants which causes me problems of where to put screws and me pencil....... this pouch would be very handy...thanks....Adam
@ mate.....you would laugh....its so cold at the moment I I have my cycling long pants, trousers AND overalls on...... must be an age thing but I just cant keep warm!!
I bought a cordless strimmer from Lidl with a 3 year warranty. In the second year it wouldn't charge. Lidl gave me a telephone number for the manufacturer and they sent me a complete new unit and didn't want the old one back. Turned out it was a faulty charger and the original is still working. On another occasion I went into Lidl for a particular tool which wasn't in stock. As I was walking out of the store one of the cashiers shouted "Stop that man, he hasn't bought anything!" Germanic humour although the store was in Wales 🤣Regards Keith
The lifting clamps are just the thing for taking continental style doors off their hinges, and more so, putting them back on again. A job that used to take three people, two lifting and one (female) hovering about on the perimeter giving directions, a great deal of time and effort. It still takes two to do it easily, but one person can manage with a bit of faffing and luck.
my combi 3 in 1 parkside drill just burned out totally, smoke all over the garage, I called the service and send them the invoice, one week later instead of replacing only the body of the drill, they sent me yesterday a case with all the new 4 in 1 tool, I was amazed, now I have duplicate spares parts
Now that is service 😃 brilliant! Big thanks for sharing.. it helps us all make good choices when buying tools.. shame the first burnt out though.. was it working well until then ? Cheers Rob
They have had the little inflatable balloons for that purpose in before. They are better for that as they are very thin when de-flated and can go under a door, the feet / prongs on these are about 6mm so you may struggle.
Love the tool belt, asked my wife & kids to get me a belt for xmas, nope, they couldn't find one (said they where expensive or couldn't find the right one 🫣) I live in the Isle of Man 🇮🇲 No Aldi 😪 only B&Q or Screwfix 🤷♂️ Miss out on all the good stuff 🫣
I'm in the middle of building a microworkshop, a tool belt would stop me having to search for items. Shed is only 7ft x 9ft but I still manage to lose stuff. I bet my local Aldi has none when I get there though
Probably not much use to you at the moment but you mentioned something about an app, don't know if you've seen it but parkside have got an app but not sure if it applies to this country yet. Congrats on your 10K subs 👍
Brought from somewhere else............WTF Parkside Judas !!! LOL Love the Vids, keep em coming... I should get the Giveaway Toolbelt by the way because I can never find my bloody tools when I need them aaahhhh !!!
Hi mate , you are the shedmiester . love your vids and youre middle aged humour , you make me laugh , im laughing at your content and my mrs dont get it , which means your doing something right . One thing though , where are youre local aldi and lidl . i live in a small town in northampton shire and i live a couple of miles from 2 lidls and 2 aldis / but they never have much in stock and i visit most days ? .keep it going mate
Mate.. massive thanks.. glad you enjoy , my wife does the same , when I watch something she doesn’t get 😂😂👍.. appreciate you watching and commenting, cheers Rob
Love the video's and the advice. Not sure if you've done this in the past but would you be able to to review TEMU tools ect ❓I've bought a few bits off there, some are really good and others are no better than toys. The Tool belt looks like excellent value for money. I'd really like to win it as I haven't got one and think it would be really useful. I find it difficult to carry things around as I've had both my shoulders replaced. So I can't carry or lift much weight. Cheers, please keep on with the videos they're brilliant 👍
I would use tool belt to store some pressurious tools as the girlfriend's started storing some of her kitchen overflow in my workshop which is our spare room and I'm having trouble finding a pen a tape measure a best of times
It's a winner just like you are, I keep putting tools down and lose them when working, it would be great to pick up the belt with all the tools already waiting. I just Just resubbed for some reason, my sub went missing.
Got the work lamp. Charge doesn't last long but super bright The corded multi tool is a beast! Any dealings with the Lidl/Parkside UK service agent Novo is in my experience a rinse and repeat nightmare. Simply the worst!
Big thanks buddy .. thanks for sharing your experience.. this is the sort of comments that helps us all make tool choices 👍, shame you had such bad service , cheers Rob

😅 yeh - same with me (late70s) - I take some tools ,nails , etc up in a bucket with food tin inside, & hang it from a re-bent coathanger.
Tool belt would be awesome for when I'm insulating the roof in the workshop! I'll have to try my local Aldi for one
Good reason to be entered mate., but let it stop you buying one 😂👍 cheers

Hi Rob …. Congratulations on the 10k…..more Parkside tools.🙈😂😂😂😂😂

They are quite good for breaking up palettes as well, or at the very least doing the first spread to open it up to get a hammer in to pull the nails.

Big thanks mate , yes you read my mind .. lifting etc ., coming up in a vid 😉👍 cheers Rob
That parkside lifter looks handy to have
So many uses buddy 👍 great thing to have when needed , cheers Rob
Great ideas cheap metal park side
The lifters are great for fitting doors into the correct height position for there hinges.
Great video rob well done
Cheers Rob
Those lifting clamps would be perfect for fitting doors
They have had the little inflatable balloons for that purpose in before. They are better for that as they are very thin when de-flated and can go under a door, the feet / prongs on these are about 6mm so you may struggle.
Love the tool belt, asked my wife & kids to get me a belt for xmas, nope, they couldn't find one (said they where expensive or couldn't find the right one 🫣)
I live in the Isle of Man 🇮🇲 No Aldi 😪 only B&Q or Screwfix 🤷♂️ Miss out on all the good stuff 🫣
Once you had turned the lifter into a "clamp" Rob, you can use it for CONTOLLED lowering, instead of it banging down at full speed!
I knew I get blinkered when filming😂… fantastic buddy 🙌 great shout ! let me give that a try 😃👍 cheers Rob
Won't lower down to 6mm, the handle/clamp is in the way.
I'm in the middle of building a microworkshop, a tool belt would stop me having to search for items. Shed is only 7ft x 9ft but I still manage to lose stuff. I bet my local Aldi has none when I get there though
Certainly would be a great help, great to see micro shops .. and ingenious storage devices 😃cheers Rob
Probably not much use to you at the moment but you mentioned something about an app, don't know if you've seen it but parkside have got an app but not sure if it applies to this country yet.
Congrats on your 10K subs 👍
Great shout buddy 😃 I’ve seen the parkside app.. didn’t seem much on there , I’ll re look 👀.. cheers Rob
Vasaline spray works on door seals to stop the freezing
Brought from somewhere else............WTF Parkside Judas !!! LOL Love the Vids, keep em coming...
I should get the Giveaway Toolbelt by the way because I can never find my bloody tools when I need them aaahhhh !!!
😂😂 thanks buddy.. yes I must say I’m more parkside.. but I’m sometimes unfaithful to both 😂👍 cheers Rob
Your fellas proper mental! But I'm more than happy to take some of the crap he buys off his hands....
Obviously for the benefit of you 😉

Could have done with that on the weekend doing a fence Lidl inpact driver lidl reciprocator saw Lidl speed square but no pouch for screws😭⚒️
Yep I would have been perfect for that 😟 cheers
I think some stores get more than others in certain regions.
I think you’re right buddy , cheers
Because the blue complements my eyes 😳
😂good enough reason .. cheers Rob
On the Workzone tool belt....i should have it because i'm so poor i have to put IOU's on the mousetraps !
😂😂 brilliant , cheers
Bit odd as heading into the diy season to have a tool sale on, Possible upgrading or re branding new products on the way maybe
Not all stores get sent the same amount of stuff, if at all.
Thanks.. yes I hear the same, be interesting to know why this is , cheers Rob
@ it’s the same at Aldi, the wife tells me. Customers come in asking for stuff from the brochures, but they don’t have it.
Think this would be very good for me as I’ve not got one lol
😂good enough reason I suppose 👌👍 cheers Rob
Congrats on the 10K
It's a winner just like you are, I keep putting tools down and lose them when working, it would be great to pick up the belt with all the tools already waiting. I just Just resubbed for some reason, my sub went missing.
Got the work lamp. Charge doesn't last long but super bright
The corded multi tool is a beast!
Any dealings with the Lidl/Parkside UK service agent Novo is in my experience a rinse and repeat nightmare. Simply the worst!
Big thanks buddy .. thanks for sharing your experience.. this is the sort of comments that helps us all make tool choices 👍, shame you had such bad service , cheers Rob
nooice!
I’m a tool, would love the tool belt and we could live happily ever after 😉
😂😂 , cheers Rob
@ 😉
Saws and planes.... Use a dab of furniture polish.
