Subhanallah sheikh's commentary on Jaafar's speech reminded me of when Umar ibn al-Khattaab said, "The bonds of Islam will break down handhold by handhold when people are born on Islam without knowing al-Jahiliyyah." May Allah bless the prophet ﷺ with maqam mahmoud and may he be more beloved to us than ourselves may we gain by the mercy of Allah his intercession on the day of judgment ya rabbal alameen

I love you.. there is a scholar by the name of ibnul jawzi, but our man ibnul qayyim's dad is the qayyim (overseer) of the jawziya (school), so he isn't ibnul qayim al jawzi he's either ibnu qayyimil jawziya (the son of the overseer of the j school) or he is ibnul qayyim (the son of the overseer),love the vibes
